What's wrong with the line feed?

I bought this trimmer last year but have not used it much. The weed trimmer was feeding the line way too fast and the spool did not last that long meaning used twice. I bought an aftermarket trimmer with a set of spools from Amazon and is supposed to be compatible with this betse620 model, however, the line feed does not work. Everything looks fine but when you press the line feed button, it stops the spool from spinning which it is designed to do in order to release the line. Is it the aftermarket spool that's not working or is it the trimmer? I have to say it's the trimmer since it let out so much line so fast.

Easy to Use

I love how lightweight this is. Other weedwackers I had a hard time trying to figure out the edger with this is to move from one position to the other. Awesome value for the Price.

Had Too Much Fun For A Chore

The media could not be loaded. Most of my thoughts are expressed in the video. The only thing I'd like to add is it wasn't easy to get the hang of doing edging. I broke the string and gave up using the edging wheel. Will try that again next time. Otherwise, I got the hang of it quickly. During the same order, I bought a rake, because when I used to do the yard with my mower or by hand with sheers, I always needed a rake, which I'd borrow from my neighbor. But I didn't need it. The good thing about this weed whacker is that it pulverizes everything so small, all I needed was a broom to sweep off certain areas. I actually look forward to using this String Trimmer again!

Powerful lightweight

Love this is NOT battery operated. Corded is better than going thru 4 batteries and still don’t have the weed eating done. Had to get used to maneuvering a cord, but didn’t take long and lawn trimming takes so much less time now.

Love the wheel!

My very old B&D trimmer finally died and I replaced it with this model. The old one had the motor up near the handle which put a bit less strain on my lower back BUT this one has the guide&support wheel for edge trimming which yields a FAR better result and virtually no weight to lift when it’s on the wheel. After edging my lawn for the first time with this trimmer I was quite happy my old one finally died!
