Wish I had bought it 2 bags earlier!

After going through two BIG tote bags in less than three years I decided it was time to pay more for a bag that will last at least a decade or perhaps even a lifetime to avoid adding to the landfill and wasting money. I chose Piel's bag because after 5+ years their frequently used, not daily, laptop bag still looks like it's new. This new tote has timeless styling. There's one interior zip pocket and an open pouch that holds my smaller than iphone mobile, but in classic tote format, the top cannot be closed. Using the interior clip does lessen the wide opening and make the bag appear less imposing. This is the BIG tote bag that I've used daily for about a month. If it breaks, I'll update the review. Piel's has several smaller bags if you're not a really big tote person.

Great Bag for Everyday Use

Love the bag, the quality is great and it carries everything I need with room for more. I get many complements on it. The only issue I have is the on the side with the pockets, the top tends to want to curl down.

Great purchase!

I purchase has a year-and-a-half ago. I use it daily for my commute to work. I also purchased a large organizer which was perfect. Good quality has held up very good. Lightweight till I add all my stuff! I don't leave home without it :)

Bought this for a family member at Christmas. Nice quality leather and is standing up to the daily wear and tear it gets. This is a beautiful tote with an option to open up to a wider top opening if needed. Highly recommend.

Great teachers aid.

I bought this for my daughter, a beginning elementary teacher. Now in her second year, she loves it. It is always stuffed with papers to grade or lesson plans. It has proven to be quite durable. Recommended!

Do not purchase this from eBags

This bag is too large for this type of thin leather. It really needs to have a sturdier bottom which can withstand sitting without collapsing. Overall, it is not worth the price. I purchased this bag from eBags and immediately tried to cancel within several minutes, as I was unsure of the product, and was told it was too late to cancel even though they didn't ship the bag out until the next evening. This cost me extra shipping costs and also the hassle of shipping it back. If you do purchase this bag, do not purchase from eBags. I will never buy another product from eBags again, as their customer service is horrible and not helpful to the customer at all.

Nice quality leather work bag

Love this bag. I have a Piel backpack and liked the quality. Was interested in a leather shoulder bag and decided on the same name brand. Large but once the sides are cinched it appears to be smaller. My work computer fits nicely and it's comfortable on my shoulder

Dimensions stated are incorrect

This is a beautiful bag but it is HUGE. The dimensions on the website show that it is 16.5 inches wide. It is, in fact, 22 inches wide which is an enormous difference. This needs to be corrected on the description to avoid others ordering it if they don't want such a large bag.
