Not the best quality control...
I've only had this toaster oven for about a week and I will certainly update this review if it should fail on me at some point soon. I've gone through many toaster ovens over the years, every single one has always come with an inaccurate dial, hated it. Was determined this time to find a digital one. I'm happy with my selection, it's living up to my expectations at the moment. Previous to this toaster oven I had a PowerXL, it's heating element was amazing in the beginning but it's slowly wore out over time.. and the temperature it cooked at was wildly inaccurate, it suddenly stopped heating food randomly, I would come back to my food after the timer dinged and it would be completely cold. I got rid of it and I don't miss it. So more about this Hamilton Beach toaster oven. Right off the bat the things I noticed once I get it on my counter.. the legs are uneven so it wobbles and the front panel was not attached properly so the top right corner has an uneven look. I was afraid to damage it so I didn't attempt to put it back on myself, it feels stuck anyway.. so of course the first thing I think is their quality control is lacking... The last thing I noticed is sometimes while it's cooking the fan can get obnoxiously loud, if you move the toaster oven just slightly it will quiet down immediately.. hoping in the future this isn't going to be a problem. What I really like is the fact that this allows you to preheat before the timer begins. Every other toaster oven I've had begins the countdown once you turn the dial. Once it preheats then it beeps you put in the food, you hit start and then the countdown begins. Now this toaster oven is probably larger than any other toaster oven I've had, it does take up quite a bit of counter space. Which in turn likely does cause the preheating time to increase but I feel the pros outweigh the cons at the moment. My only pet peeve is with the design for the door coming down, because this toaster oven is longer the glass door comes down directly on the edge of my countertop.. the side swinging doors would have been a better design. Overall I really do like it, I just hope it outlives all the other toaster ovens that have failed on me over the years.

Great Oven
I love this!! The air fryer is awesome, oven and everything about it works great so far. It fits a 9x13 pan and a 12 " pizza perfect. There's just 2 of us home now so it's perfect for us.

Great oven
I purchased this to bake small items so I wouldn't have to heat up my larger gas oven. This has worked great for me. Heats up quick and is easy to clean. I don't use the convection bake with muffins or cookies and the ones next to the convection fan bake quicker than the ones on the opposite side so I just use the bake only mode and they bake fine.

Amazing device. Honestly it's a second oven!
I have waited to review this item until we got some real use out of it and boy has it been used. We replaced a small 5qt basket type air fryer with this Hamilton Beach and it has been great. LOVE the room you get in it and the ability to cook multiple things at the same time. Love the ability to air fry, Broil, Bake, Roast, Warm and be a convection oven as well. We ended up using this for Christmas to a large 9x11 pan of mac and cheese and green bean casserole while we had a ham and others items in the oven. SUCH a life saver!! We have even used it to keep foods warm because it doesn't heat up the kitchen to use this instead of a normal oven. We have cooked pizzas, hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, fries, fish patties, etc. all in this air fryer and it's been great. Fantastic product and works great.

Versatile oven for busy kitchens
I got this oven to replace a couple of other small kitchen appliances. My son took it to use with his roommates, as they can not afford buying separate toaster oven and air fryer. This makes good tasty food, takes up not too much counter space, and has a trusted name brand. Recommended!

Nice toaster oven/air fryer with a lot of features, although I prefer the basket air fryer models. Also make sure it fits your space before buying, it’s a bit large.

I love this "Hamilton Beach Air Fryer Countertop Toaster Oven with Sure-Crisp Technology, XL Capacity for 2 12” Pizzas, Two 9” x 13” Pans and 4 Rack Positions, Digital Controls, Grey (31390)", I found myself using this much more than my conventional build in oven; this one heats up faster and cooks faster (hence using much less energy). Good size/capacity, I can almost bake anything I need to in this oven and never have to use my big built-in oven (except maybe doing a turkey for thanksgiving). All the typical, essential functions: bake, broil, roast, warm (convection), plus air fry. The unit is easy to use, and the display is clear and functional. The results are pretty fantastic for every functions, I am very happy with this unit. I even use this to warm my plates!
