Don't Seem to Last Very Many Years
I have these across the back of my house over decks and patio. They get the job done very well but seem to need too frequent replacement. Wish they were more durable and lasted longer.

Good Light, Great Price
I have purchased four of these lights for the front of our house, two by the garage and two by the front door. I specifically wanted motion sensing lights in a brushed nickel look. At the price these are offered it's as good as you are going to get from my research. So far, I returned two which stopped working shortly after installation. The four I have in place now have been working well through all seasons. The motion sensing works well and you can adjust the sensitivity which is good. I like the dusk to dawn feature which automatically turns the lights on in the evening and off during daylight. For those with worse OCD then myself note that if you have several of these installed the light sensor will cause the lights to come on at different times. I believe you can run these in parallel if you or your installer really know what you are doing. I reduced my grade by one star due to quality control. Each of the units I have purchased has a different bend on the decorative arm that attaches from the base (at the wall) to the top (at the motion sensor). I also found, when attaching to the wall, each unit hung at a slightly different downward angle. The small issues do not bother me however for the price and function you get with these lights.

'OK' fixture, but it has it's issues.
I have the earlier Heath fixtures on my home and decided to 'upgrade' my front door light. I ordered one of these and found 2 issues. First, the lamp extends out from the wall over an inch farther than my existing versions (2003 vintage). That is too far for my application as it becomes more of a bump hazard, not good for the bumper or fixture. Second, a previous review citing a weak mounting interface was valid. The unit, if as loose as that depiction, could probably be tightened up by disassembly, but that is not what a person expects to have to do, is it? My fixture was tightly assembled, however, the weight of the lamp did put undue downward sag on the wall mount. This point consists of a very small surface area and sticks out a bit from the mount itself. Simple matter of basic leverage, too much weight sticking too far out. The fixture is very vulnerable to unwanted movement from wind or bumping. I thought about placing a support block behind the lamp box for added support, which would lend stability but would also be unsightly. In defense of the lamp design, I do think the decorative strap on top, that connects base to box to the mount, could be adjusted to help support the load, however, I decided that the fixture just would not work for me so returned it. I never got as far as mounting or connecting the wires so cannot testify as to its electrical soundness.

Less brushed nickel, more green in tint, BUT still worth buying.
I bought this unit to replace the exact same model (that had given up the ghost after many years of service). This new unit had more of a greenish tint to it than the older model (even though they were both described as "brushed nickel"); this is the only reason I rated it as a 4 and not a 5. The new unit, when set to max, picks up objects about 25 feet out, which met my expectations. I re-purposed the square top from the old unit to create an "umbrella" to place over the new unit's motion center. One of the complaints other people had was that the sensor could get covered by snow in colder climates, and obscure the motion sensor. Another reason to place the "umbrella" over the sensor is to protect it from direct UV exposure (the lens is a cheap clear plastic, not glass), while still permitting sufficient light/movement sensitivity for the motion detector to work. I bought the same model and am glad to recommend this again, even with the color being less nickel and more green.

These motion sensing lights look great! The motion works pretty well and has an adjustment for the sensitivity. You can turn on the dusk to dawn feature which is nice. It also has an adjustment for the time the light goes bright when sensing motion until the time it dims back down. One feature it doesn't have is that you can't always keep it on the bright setting unless you flip the switch twice (but that only lasts one night). Also, this specific one that I received, has a slight "greenish" tone to it compared to the other 3 that I have. Otherwise, love it!

Replaced Existing HZ-4144-NB Lights
I originally purchased these lights when the home was under construction in 2005. The electrician professionally installed them at multiple points around the house. The motion sensing on the lights over the garage doors lasted 10 to 11 years but then become completely unreliable. Replacing the lamps was easy and I reused some of the hardware. I'm sorry I didn't do it sooner! Two things to note: 1) Of the two purchased lamps, each had a broken glass panel (1 of 3). I replaced the glass panels with glass panels from the existing lamps. They fit perfectly. But keep this in mind if you order and the shipping is a little rough. 2) The brushed nickel does have a bit of a green tint up close. But since the trim on the house is dark green, it works for me. It's not that apparent looking up from the driveway.
