Not the correct glasses

I had a pair of parasols that were perfect. Best glasses I ever had. I tried to buy new ones to replace them and they were the wrong ones. I sent those back and order these ones, and the are not the right ones either. I have no idea how to tell which ones I had or what I’m getting from the pictures. I quit trying to figure it out.

quality item at a good price

these are top dog glasses they will last a lifetime if you take good care of them be sure to examine them thoroughly and especially where the lenses fit in the frame and the hinges

Authentic but not real!!

These may be "authentic" but are no where near the ones Ive had for years.. Everything is different and you can feel it. Its like if you hold a fake Rolex and a real one. The frame material is cheap feeling, the lenses are polarized but they are thin and dark grey and not green. They feel fake but they are garunteed "authentic". due to the Chinese company Luxottica who bought ALL the designer brand names like Persol, Gucci, Fendi, Prada etc. even RayBan and my guess is they switched to cheaper material yet they own the name so they are offically"authentic" Thats why the price is so low and not 3-400 like they were before. I do love the style and I am not unhappy with them but since I own a real pair I can feel the difference.

Top quality , very elegant and exclusive model by Persol

This is another Persol with all the virtues that we've come to expect from Persol, highest quality materials, top clarity mineral glass lenses, timeless classic designs. When I put this I feel like i'm on a Fellini movie from the 60s. The acetate is top notch and the blue lenses add to that feeling of being in another era. Add to that the lenses in this model are photochromatic which allows them to cover categories 2 and 3 and you have an elegant yet modern model that can be used both in cloudy days as in full sunny days. Their only 'defect' is that the acetate is very slippery and the glasses don't have anti-slip pads, nor on the nose rests neither on the inner temple arms, so you need to be extra careful when tilting your head down. I will add to them some transparent silicon pads, so that will be taken care of.

Very Impressed

I've run the gambit of sunglasses from Oakley and Tag Heuer, to Ray Ban and Maui Jim. I've even tried the fashion brands such as Armani. This is the first time I've tried Persol as a brand, and having once owned an Alfa Romeo the words 'Italian Built' tend to strike fear, rather than foster a warm and fuzzy. But I've seen them in the movies, Daniel Craig's James Bond wore the tortoise shell version of these, and Harvey Spector from Suits wore some Persol's to a funeral. So who am I to ignore such blatant product placement? I temporarily misplaced my Oakley's which had been my go to for a while, and decided I was overdue for some new shades. I've always liked the rectangular look, and it's quite clear that Persol is a well respected brand. I was very impressed with the build quality, look and feel. I've worn them in the icy snow of Minneapolis and the bright sun of Palm Springs and whether it be glare from the snow or a bright sun, they have performed very well. It's clearly a quality product. Very stylish, and non of the flaws of some other brands. Maui Jim always seemed to fog up for me, and pick up finger prints like crazy. These are easy to wear, and clearly the lens is of superior quality. There's a lot to like here, so if you are thinking of some cool shades for summer 2014, maybe give these a try.

Timeless Classic

Can wear these anywhere and always get compliments. Very well made, comfortable and never out of style. Lenses are great. Only complaint is they are fairly heavy so can get a bit uncomfortable after a full day but the weight gives them quality.

Excellent looking glasses, now better with my latest modification

I received the Persol PO2747, the two tone color frame is unique, they are comfortable. I liked them so much that I decided to exchange the lenses so that I can wear them all the time. I sent the frame to freeprescriptionlenses.com, the new lenses are the with Carl Zeiss Photofusion Blue with the Duravision Silver anti-glare, when I am outside the lenses transition from clear to an intense vibrant dark blue color (see pictures), they look awesome. I already received compliments from friends (at social distance gatherings). In short the frames are excellent, and Mathew (aka Mo) at freeprescriptionlenses.com did an amazing job with the prescription lenses.

The glasses are deffective and unfixable. The frame is entirely warped and unwearable.

Lost first pair so bought another

My second pair, having mysteriously lost my last ones. Great fit and good styling and not a bad price. The polarising lenses are excellent. Didn't even look for a different pair, was so pleased with the last ones just bought a replacement pair when I couldn't find them.

Beautiful and solid quality

Absolutely beautiful sunglasses ! Classic and distinguished look with a solid and real quality feel in the hand and while wearing them. They are authentic Persol. Love them.
