Fits the bill, just wish they'd last longer

We've purchased these several times, hoping to keep our hummingbird feeders going and viable for the hummingbirds. At the end of each season, it seems that one or two of the guards disappear, and so we have to purchase replacement bee guards such as this kit. They do the job, just wish they were a bit cheaper and would stick on the feeder for longer.

Makes a great cat toy

They do what they are supposed to do. I took them off in Winter when we have hummingbirds here but no bees/wasps. This is when I discovered that my cats love these as much as any marketed cat toy. It seemed like over night all four of them disappeared off my kitchen counter. I have only ever found ONE of them. I hear the cats playing with them at night as if they know I might have another use for them. I never see this behavior during the day so I have no clue where they have hidden them. I'll be buying another set of these because they work. But if I choose not to use them in the Winter I'll be securing them in a drawer instead of taking my chances with my feline roommates.

An easy plug-in replacement for old mildew-covered traps

These ant trap guards do become mildew-coated over time and are difficult to clean een with a bristle brush; so the easy thing to do is just replace them every so often for the health of the hummingbirds.

Direct replacements but

Need to replace my bee cages on my hummingbird feeders. These are direct replacement. Only gave 4-stars because of price. Where cheapest I could find on Amazon, but come on Perky-Pet, the 4 replacement cages were almost as much as the entire feeder. Lost a star for cost.

When my hummingbird feeders needed replacement bee guards...

In my cold climate zone bees are also a constant problem at my feeders, so these bee guards are a must. So when woodpeckers demolished my perky pet bee guards so I had to replace. Glad to have found these. They're a perfect replacement.

can purchase whole feeder for that price

I find this to be a typical auto parts pricing grab. These are good replacements however for 2 dollars more you can by the whole humming bird feeder at Canadian Tire for 14 dollars. I repaired my broken bee guard using a soldering iron to melt the plastic hinge back together. This worked so well that I still have these new bee guards in their original package. 1 star for being outright theft!!!

Bright and attractive!

This product is working really well. My hummingbirds are having no problems accessing the nectar and I haven't had any wasps trying to access the nectar. Usually the wasps are always harassing the hummers, so this product is fantastic. The only slight problem I had was that I had to make the ports larger to accommodate the larger stem. It wasn't difficult to do, so I would recommend this product.

Overpriced garbage

Received these bee guards, WHICH DO NOT FIT and are simply tiny pieces of plastic that probably cost 10 cents to manufacture. Now I find out that they are not eligible for return, after we have spent thousands on amazon purchases. What a waste of money!!!

Protegen más o menos bien

Le quedan bien a mis bebederos para colibríes son embargo no se cómo pero las abejas aún así pueden tomar nectar, creo que probablemente es por la posición del bebedero.
