Its HUGEEE
I wish I could use it on my smoker but my Recteq 1250 is too small for it. I gave it to by brother in law to use it on hit Treager and seems to be working amazing. I wish they made a smaller one. Has good weight to it and chicken sits sturdy

Even cooking, not too stable
The diameter of the base is too small, standing up a 4 lb chicken makes it unstable. Also dripping would make a mess and I now use a medium size disposable aluminum pan to catch the dripping. Standing up the chicken makes the cooking more even on a grill (I use a Weber kamado) especially for slow smoking. Being made of cast iron does not seem to make any difference to cooking compared with other similar products made with steel wire. Seasoning is easy. Smear it with animal fat and “bake” it in a grill set to high (I did it at 650°F). Afterwards, no worry about rust. Cleaning is just like any other cast iron pan - east.

Mixed Feelings
Works great for the chicken but I wouldn't recommend for roasted garlic unless you still wrap the heads of garlic in foil. I tried it without the foil.....as seen in their video. With all of the holes, too much air hits the garlic. If I have to wrap the garlic anyway, why would I need this? On the other hand, it worked great with the chicken. Again...mixed feelings.

Great alternative to an aluminum can
I've always wanted to try making "drunken chicken" but the idea of cooking with a printed aluminum can was very unappealing so I searched for alternatives and found this. I chose it over the ceramic version for two reasons. One: this one comes in 2 pieces so it's much easier to clean; and Two: I'm a klutz and tend to drop things, so ceramic wouldn't last long around me. I am very happy with my purchase, the base holds a lot of ingredients so you can experiment with different infusions.

First attempt was good.
I did it in the oven at 350 took about 2 hours to reach 165. The pan I used will now be designated for beer chicken. It's a little messy and baked on. The chicken turned out juicy and flavorful. I used the recipe on the page.

Now we are Cookin!
These cost more but are multifunctional and work great on my Traeger Grill. Best of all you can use any liquid concoction you wish in these containers. I love mine!

Very sturdy and solid feeling. Fits 2 beers and a whole chicken easily.
This will be the 5th smoked chicken I am making on this item. Well worth the money. You can fit 2 beers a handful of garlic cloves, and herbs inside while smoking the chicken.

Nice and heavy
Keeps the bird very sturdy while cooking and the container holds lots of liquid. Was very pleased with it. Make sure You oil and heat It in the bbq at 400 degrees for an hour before using. Don’t let it soak in water it will rust. Wash after use dry it and re oil it. Keep in a dry place.

Very well put together
Initial impression is that it's a very well put together roaster. The quality of the material is evident out of the box. Seasoning it was straight forward and simple. Will be using it for the first time soon!!!
