Make Great Teethers Also

When I ordered this toy my little one was too young to use it in the bath tub so I ended up making teething toys out of it until he was old enough to play with it in the bath tub. He loves them. The octopus itself he plays with in and out of the bathtub. We have gotten so much use and had so much fun with this one toy! The octopus actually fits on the side of his baby bed and we have set a stuffed animal and various other toys on it for him to look at or play with. So many fun things to do with it. Definitely a great toy and a hit at our house! Great value for the price! Would make a great first birthday party gift.

Adorable bath time fun

Octopus bath toy with interactive rings is entertaining and great for your toddler's hand eye coordination. Love this colorful and clever toy shaped like an octopus that floats on the water so your child can toss or place the rings on the arms. The price was cheaper then other items in other stores.

Impossible to play

I was excited about this, and it’s still very cute and floats good but the rings are so tiny it’s impossible to play the ring toss with it. Also the fact it only has 6 legs but beside that I wish the rings were bigger or less heavy

Trying to teach Latin with to few legs

How am I meant to teach my 3 year old Latin and Greek numbers with an Octopus with the wrong amount of legs, OCTO means 8 not 6! Other than that it's provided sufficient entertainment and it's size is fine. If you are expecting a giant Octopus this is not for you...

MOLD FREE BATH TOY!!

We bought this bath toy because there is no place for water to go into it. This toy doesn’t sit upright in the water, just topples over. It’s nearly impossible to throw a ring around the tentacles. Our baby does love to play with the little rings. Please let us know if this review was helpful!

Fantastic with a side order of undersold

I wouldn't be writing this if it wasn't for an absolute plot twist in the bath with our little beast the other night. 'Nuby' or as we call him 'Evil Dr Pus' is an absolute household favourite. Our little guy loves him and the mischief he causes during bath time. However, it was a total surprise and a shock when my wife mentioned to me that Dr Pus only has 6 legs and not the requisite 8. Whilst this does present a great back story, as to how and why Evil Dr Pus became evil (misunderstood, outcast, etc.), it does feel a bit of overstatement to call Nuby an Octopus. Nuby does float, however!

Hexapus bath toy

Baby likes it and I bought it as it’s one of few toys I could find that doesn’t get mouldy inside. It is definitely impossible to use as a ring toss game, for an adult even, let alone a baby/toddler! The size is good, exactly as described. And yes, as per other comments it is odd that the octopus has 6 legs and not 8 and that it only comes with 3 rings..but this is clear from product description. Nice enough edition to our bath toy collection for a decent price.
