Not For Power Chewers

Our pup is a power chewer and started to get pieces off of this thing in a matter of minutes. He did LOVE it though, so if you have a less aggressive chewer, it would be great!

This is the toy!

I has been looking for this since trying Nerf’s version with the rope glued in the middle. That one is pointless, this design is what should be offered more regularly. It is durable as a tug and my dog even plays fetch with it. She leaps and twists in the air and grabs it by the nylon strap in the middle. I wouldn’t let a dog do this unless they are extremely agile and probably don’t recommend for fetch because it could cause injury but I have an Australian Shepherd who doesn’t like tennis balls or frisbees (weird, I know) but this is the toy. She has played with these since she was a puppy and no substitutions will do. It’s a great tug for a medium sized breed, the nylon is strong and well put together. These last about six months of intense outdoor play for us, even in snow and colder temps, the color doesn’t fade and the rubber or nylon doesn’t deteriorate even when left in the sun or rain. I wouldn’t recommend this for a chewer, our old Boston/Pug mix could tear into one (the rubber part) like a lawnmower but he could do that with any toy we had. Probably wouldn’t work well for a very large breed dog but for a mid-size like ours it’s great and she really digs in and pulls hard with these. I hope that I will continue to find these online because our local pet stores have a poor selection of quality toys.

Not for tough chewers

The rings are holding up but my pup goes right for the strip between 3 x supervised play and it’s almost in two pieces

It’s a good teething toy

It’s a good teething toy but my puppy doesn’t like it that much. But I tried it a couple of times and it works great! Thanks for helping my dog not eat the cats!

One side snapped the first time we used it

Had a previous one that lasted for almost a year. Got this to replace it and was very disappointed. Didn't even make it through 1 game of tug.

Happy dogs

Our dogs are medium chewers and 65 lbs. occasionally they tug of war but more often one chews alone

Not super durable to leave out unattended

Our German Shepherd bit chunks out of the rings in a short period of time. Other Nerf toys she didn’t do that to.

My 35 pound puppy loves it.

Dog & I play tug of war with it several times a day. Sometimes chews & plays on her own. She chews on strap without a mark. Rubber holds up well. No visible wear in 2 months time.
