Packing...more is not better

Very nice eagle. Solid, looks great. My problem is with the packing. They shrink wrapped it to a piece of cardboard. When removing the shrink wrap several spots of paint came off with the plastic. I had about 10 spots ranging from 1mil. to 3 mil. where the black paint came off leaving a bare aluminum spot. I touched up with black paint but can't understand why they would shrink wrap it so tight. HELLO...Montague Metal Products....dial back your shrink wrap machine a few notches. It's way too tight.

BEAUTIFUL WORKMANSHIP!

I bought this because I read about the tradition of putting one on the house when you pay off your mortgage. Well, I think it's a beautiful sentiment. I may only live in a small manufactured home, but when it is paid off, I will habg this work of art above the garage and call it mine. Thank you.

Looks better online

Ordered this to put over my garage. When received the quality was very poor, the cast almost looks cartoonish. I could have mounted it and from a distance nobody would have noticed but I would have known. There are better quality casts of this classic americana piece, may work for some but didn't meet my personal standards.
