Simple & Effective
It's really great when a simple and well designed tool finds it way into your kitchen. I have used this item often, every day since I received it. It replaced a similar item that was not as effective or easy to use. The OXO squeegee fits the hand nicely; easy to use - simple and effective. The straight and and curved edges both work well. I use it to keep the counted around the sink nice and dry and to clear plates, bowls, and sheet pans. Saves me on paper towels and having to replace wet cloth dish towels. Pushing water into the sink is faster and more effective than wiping it up with a cloth or sponge.

Does it’s job
This little scraper thingy gets food residue out of pots with ease. If o have tough hard residue I just soak pot in water for a few minutes and then scrape away. Saves on using a paper towel.

Say Good-Bye To The Sponge! (Fun to use, too!)
Simple elegant design, very tactile and it works well, especially the squeegee's curved sides rounding the corners of the stainless steel sink, pushing water and stuff to the strainer.. I gave up on the standard sponge for cleaning vs. one designed for non-stick pans - and I squeeze that with the flat side of the OXO. I now know why people buy several, as gifts, too, as I just gave one to my neighbor!

Perfect size, quality product
I use this to squeegee water off the counter into the sink. (Keeps things more sanitary.) Ingenious solution for that as it stands up and takes no room at all.

For countertop water use: Not good compared to older OXO squeegie
Only reviewing for use as countertop water-The rubber is too thick and isn't flexible so it doesn't really glide the water into the sink and has to be gone over several times with pressure, while still leaving water streaks. The older OXO was much cleaner, faster, and easier to use-I thought I'd be getting the same silicone type with this.

A simply designed tool with a lot of thought behind it
I’m honestly shocked at how good this thing is. I bought it to aid in cleaning my big square industrial style sink, as it doesn’t drain well and my water pressure is too low to make much of a difference so stuff like coffee grounds and random pasta bits build up fast. This thing is like magic on my sink. I can quickly scrape everything into the drain strainer and chuck it. My sink is 90% clean and dry just from doing that, and with all the gross food bits taken care of I can find and scrub the stubborn parts faster. The shape of this scraper is perfect, because I can get it exactly in the corners of the sink where most everything collects. I also use it for scraping dishes before washing them and that’s where the curved end really shines, because it swoops around bowls and pots effortlessly. Comes clean with a dot of dish soap and a quick massage. I used it to squeegee a big water spill off my counter once and my counter was completely dry in seconds, no towels needed. It doesn’t miss anything when you’re using it. To me it’s comfortable enough to get the job done while not compromising on my ability to put enough pressure on it for a good clean pull. Best part is I’ve been using it for months and it still looks new.

Perfect for scraping plates
I bought this to scrape our plates prior to putting them into the dishwasher; it does that job very well. It is just the right size for this job. It feels sturdy and so far I have not had any discolouration as others have noted. Wiping it clean straight away seems to be doing the trick so far.

Finally, a nicer way to scrape plates!
On first glance you and I might look sideways at someone getting enthusiastic about something as comically simple as this, wondering how little they have going on in their lives! But as one of the most horrible tiny chores there is in the kitchen, scraping plates prior to dishwashing (please tell me you don't use your dishwasher as a kind of waste-disposal) has to be one of the less pleasant jobs to be done, and this makes the worst of that job just disappear. It's a doddle to clean afterwards and does a great job of gently getting rid of residual food on plates, etc. It is built solidly but is light and with a rubberised blade that is gentle on crockery, and makes a great first pass over the dirty crocks before you wash them, either in a machine or at the sink. One of those things you don't realise you "need" until you've used one!

Good
It was smaller than I thought it would be, but that's not an issue for the item: it's because I didn't spend a lot of time reading the specs. It's well built and does what it says it will do. I can see folks using it to clear plates, etc. I bought it with the idea that I could use it to clear water off the counter around my sink. For that purpose, it's a bit small, but again - that's my issue. It seems a bit expensive for what it is. One thing that you should keep in mind, like any kitchen gadget, is whether or not you'll actually use it. I was interested in this because so many people in their reviews mentioned its heavy use in their kitchens. I all honesty, as much as I would like to use this squeegee, I just don't find myself reaching for it all that often... but, again, that's my issue :)

Very pleased
Does exactly what you need it to do. It gets stuck-on food off the surface of the pan, plate etc with efficiency and ease, and without getting little bits caught up in the bristles of a washing-up brush. V pleased with this; bought a second one in case the first one mysteriously finds its way to my daughter's house.
