Love the ombre design and quite pleased with this setting :)

A perfect, not too cheap place setting for everyday use by a single person! To another reviewer complaining that who would want this place setting for 1, here I am lol When I was reading that, I literally raised my hand saying me, me, me!! You know, while I would use something of a higher quality setting to serve my guests, I would also want something that isn’t too cheap for everyday use to enjoy my food. This just does that. I have used Mikasa one before and it isn’t too light so it feels great and doesn’t chip easily when used almost everyday without worrying about too much (well, I am clumsy so if they don’t break under me, I bet they can endure any normal use for sure lol) This isn’t fancy or anything but it is obviously a better choice than Ikea level ones :) The sizes of 4 pieces are great IMO, and I am planning to get a different design for myself to match different table clothes / Btw, this graphite Ombre design actually goes fairly well with any tablecloth. I highly recommend spending just a bit more for yourself to enjoy your meal more :) P.S very well packaged to avoid shattering during transit!

Beautiful, Modern Place Setting

I ordered this Mikasa Swirl 4-Piece Place Setting to have on hand in case one of the pieces of my 16-piece service for 4 set got broken. Whooooooops. I have the round plates and this set has the square ones. (I actually like the look of the square ones a bit better -- go figure!!!) The Ombre Graphite color pattern is stunning. The weight of the plates is not too heavy and they have a quality feel to them. They have subtle raised ribbing on the plates which gives them an expensive look. The mug is oversized. The bowl leaves me wondering how easy it will be to eat cereal or soups out of it, but the shape is definitely different from the boring round bowls in other sets. Mikasa designed a good thing with this Ombre pattern!

Nice setting

Like all Mikasa products this too is of quality. It has the darker color at the outer edge and it fades moving into the center. There are ripples around the outer rims. A nice design and the rounded square design adds to the uniqueness. The bowls have the unique ripple or wave design on the tops. Not a straight edge. Different and unique. Adds to the helping you show your own uniqueness with your table setting.

Beautiful Place Setting

This Mikasa Swirl 4 piece place setting is just lovely. All of the plates are sized right for my needs. I have already had two dinners on these dishes. The dinner plate is sized generously as are the salad plate and side side dish plate. Really lovely place setting and I am super pleased with the quality of this product. Love it.
