Swagger: found

The silhouette is SHARP. The pointy toe, the grain detail, and leather quality for ~ $100 that keeps up with similar boots 3x its price without breaking a sweat. No sloppy workmanship here, boys and ghouls (& all you fabulously fluid/nb folx, too) - so get your swagger on. I've seen these occasionally drop in price to obscene lows, too, so if you need to justify a second pair, consider this a self-care sign from above to pull the trigger when you see those numbers plummet. I only wish I'd come to purchasing shoes on Amazon sooner, but then again, I've only got so many feet to keep shod...

Size 9 runs long and narrow

When this shoe came in the mail, I actually thought I had ordered myself some boots as these things are long. When I showed them to my SO, she had to look at the box to ensure they were for women. The boot is long and fits like a size 10 according to her. If you are a women who can wear an 8.5-9 then get the 8.5 or as she said, “These look like clown shoes.” She was disappointed as the shoes are very well put together and an incredibly nice leather. She liked the style but inevitably because of how big they made her feet look, she said she won’t be wearing them very often.

Just as expected

Very nice boot, and it does run a litter big. I wear a 6.5 and I ordered a 6. It fits just right.

Disappointed

Sizing is not consistent. Shoes fit and feel high quality but are not. Pull tab broke on the pair I bought before this one just days after initial purchase. This black boot was returned because they were much more narrow than expected. The green pair with the broken pull tab fit great and I could actually go down half a size. Both are a size 10. What gives?

Beautiful high quality boots...

This is a gorgeous pair of boots. The leather is a very nice quality and feels buttery soft. The insides are lined with kid leather, which feels nice and helps prevent blisters. These boots are made of genuine leather, which is becoming more and more difficult to find. My feet get sweaty in synthetic leather, so genuine leather is top priority when I buy footwear. I like that these combine both black and cognac leather, and they go nicely with most of my fall and winter clothing. This is a style of boot that can be worn with many types of outfits. They look great with jeans, but they can be dressed up as well. These seem to run a little large and wide. I typically wear either an 8.5 or 9 regular width, and these fit me decently with a heavyweight sock. The description states that these boots have a "blunt arch support". I have very high arches, and cannot feel any arch support at all. However, I'm used to this issue with most footwear, and I inserted stick-on arch supports inside the boots. They're fairly comfortable for me after doing that, but I wouldn't wear them for a long day of shopping, etc because they're a bit too wide on my foot. I really like the look of the stacked wooden heels on these boots. There is a slight bit of a tread on the sole, but not enough to wear them on a slippery sidewalk. Recommended!

Life/Mind Changing?

I would typically throw up in my mouth a bit when seeing the price tag associated with these boots. I know some people spend this much and more on footwear without blinking, but that's just not in my budget. Getting a chance to try, wear around, and review these, however, has illustrated well for me why people DO spend larger sums of money on shoes. These boots are beautiful, y'all. They're almost too pretty to wear, although of course I'm wearing them. The leather is positively luxurious, and the brown detailing on the heel and sole means - to me - that I can wear these with pretty much anything. To hell with the "can't mix brown and black" rule! My one beef? That's a pretty big elastic panel, which does cheapen it a bit. I understand that these are necessary to get the boots on and off, but... it's a big panel. I realize fit is really subjective, but these fit me like a dream. I love them. They make me feel fancy while still being reasonable.

Beautiful boots

I typically wear a size 11 and sometimes the toe area is too narrow. The length and width of these are perfect. They are a beautiful boot! Expensive, but the quality is good and the reason it fits so well.
