Didn't Work For Me
After reading other reviews I had high hopes for this, it certainly works as intended, but I was disappointed to not feel like the other reviewers had after using this. This wasn't a miracle product for me, it wasn't the answer to my hair problems, it wasn't some WOW moment like it was for others. This is NOT to say the product is bad or doesn't work, because it does work, just don't set yourself up for disappointment like I did. Go in knowing it's a good clarifying shampoo and that's it, if you see big change like everyone else did, even better! I bought this to clarify, but also to remove leftover dye as many people said it was super helpful for that. It clarified well without drying out my hair, did not fade my color at all lol.

Amazing!
I would give this product 100 stars if I could. I have very long hair under my waist that I plan on donating for wigs for pediatric cancer patients. But our hard water made my hair so sticky that it felt like I was washing my hair in pool water every day. Brushing it right after a shower always left this disgusting residue on my hands, and overall, I felt gross and wanted to light my head on fire. I regret not buying this product sooner. After two shampooings with Goo Gone and one shampooing with Mallibu C hard water wellness, my hair finally feels squeaky clean and incredibly smooth, and I can't stop running my fingers through it. I am obsessed! A must-have from now on

Amazing
My hairdresser used this in my hair and then suggested me to buy it because I don’t have a clarifying shampoo! I love the Malibu brand, everything they have is amazing for my blonde hair! It’s great and does the job really well however when it was delivered it was spilled all over the shipping box :(

Holy moly.. I am blown away by this product! This was recommended by Gena Marie on YouTube for people who have hard water. I have been struggling with my curly hair for at least 3 years. I thought my hair was just changing and thinning (due to PCOS). After I had covid at the end of 2021 I lost approximately 50% of my hair making matters worse. My hair is overall healthy and grows quick but it was just totally different after that and nothing I tried made it better. My curls turned into waves, they had no life or volume, and my hair appeared so thin you could see my scalp in multiple places. December 2022 I stumbled across Gena and after watching her video on hard water build up on hair I was like dang, that sounds like my hair.. I def have hard water and have for the last 4 years. Thinking back this explained why my hair started going south after moving 4 years ago. I have used this shampoo twice and I literally have my hair back!! I know that sounds cheesy but it's so so true. My hair has volume again, my curls are curls, and hiding my scalp is no longer an issue! I'm literally amazed.. It is a stripping shampoo so be sure to deep condition after you use this. The scent is fine - not too strong or anything like that. I would recommend making sure hard water build up is your problem before trying this just in case it has a negative effect on hair that doesn't need it (not sure if it would or not). This has also helped with my itchy scalp which I thought was just because I have dry skin. Overall, I am just thrilled with this and I feel so much better about my hair. I can't recommend this or Gena Marie enough!

Just what my hair needed!
My hair needed some love. It was struggling severely with greasy oily random spots on my scalp. I purchased this Malibu C as it had mentioned it helps with oil and cleansing etc when I used it 1st time I bought the sample pack. It removed the greasy oily spots from my scalp and it lasted several weeks. I highly recommend using this product if you are somebody who struggles with severely oily hair or oil spots build-up whatever you want to call it this. Removes it and leaves your hair feeling healthy, and smooth.

Great with my curls!
I have 3B curls and have been silicone free for many years. But even silicone-free products build up (and curly girls use a LOT of products!!), and my favorite curly hair YouTuber recommended using this before highlighting/coloring hair. I can’t remember the last time I used a clarifying shampoo, but I was expecting it to dry out my curls. I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I could run my fingers through my hair with the shampoo in AND after rinsing it out! No conditioner! I’m super impressed and plan on using this every few washes before a deep condition!

Life altering
I watched a tiktoker use this shampoo. She said to use it at least twice until you get a good lather and WOW. I'm so glad I followed her advice and washed twice when I have never shampooed like that before. I used my regular tea tree shampoo after and it was like night and day. It felt like putting on glasses after not seeing your whole life. My hair has never felt so good before. You /need/ this

Helps conditioner work better on low porosity hair
Was a little apprehensive about using this, as I haven't really used shampoo for many years and whenever I did it always made my hair feel squeaky and super dry. I use this once or twice a month and it's high pH really helps open the cuticle and really allows my deep conditioner to work on my low porosity hair. It cleans my hair and makes my conditioner work better

Gentle clean
The best clarifying shampoo for curly hair. Removes all build up in one go, but still gentle on hair. Hair left feeling clean but not dried out like from other clarifying shampoos. The bottle is huge, do not need much so its going to last ages. Smells like citrus, not strong and doesn't stay long time in your hair which is great. Would definitely recommend for every curly person!

Great clarifying shampoo for dry or silver hair
A great chelating and clarifying shampoo, which is effective but not too harsh on my dry hair. I use this once a week, as I live in a very hard water area. I also have silver/grey hair and have had no yellowing issues with using this shampoo.
