Definitely solid 16 gauge unlike cheaper ones that claim to be 16

I had previously ordered a different brand of sink listed as 16 gauge, but around 33% cheaper. You get what you pay for. The cheaper one was 19 gauge at most, nowhere close to the advertised 16 gauge. You could bend the corners easily by hand. The cutting board that came with that one was heavier than the sink itself. I returned it, and got this Kraus sink instead. It is very solid, definitely 16 gauge, and it's very nice. The drain assembly installed very easily without need for any caulk or putty, and no need for a drain tool. I am happy I returned the other one and opted for higher quality. Note that the 21X19 is a single bowl (which I wanted) like the image, not a double bowl as it says in the title.

After a year of use.

This sink is beautiful. The stainless steel is thick and stands up to everyday use. The cutting board is bamboo and very useful. The deep single bowl design means cleaning large pans pots is easier. My wife doesn't like it, but I 'won' out with 'the person doing the cleaning...' I still like the fact that I can fit pans in the sink while I clean them. Tips: Keep the sink clean and don't let water stand in it for prolonged time if you have hard water. Clean with vinegar to remove any calcium or lime built up from the corners. Use stainless steel cleaner and polish for that just installed look. Even after a year. Cutting board: It is well made, bamboo and very used in my kitchen. Treat with a food grade wood wax and your good to go. Reapply the wax every month or so based on your usage and preferences. I use a bees wax for all my cutting boards. Cons: The sink has a curve in the corners that make cleaning easier however not all transitions were considered for that. The result is cleaning required a brush to get into the 90° corners, I use a modified firm toothbrush for this. The cutting board has a fluid channel that runs the perimeter and a drain to allow liquid to disperse from the board. Make sure that the channel and drain are waxed as well. Doing so will seal the exposed end grain that will wick fluid and cause headaches later if not addressed. Scratches in the sink are not eliminated but reduced greatly by the basin bottom rack. It is stainless steel and very sturdy. It functions well and provides adequate protection for the bottom of the sink. Con: it needs cleaning after each use. Doing so will prevent oder from trapped food or just clinging food. A quick brush with a cleansing brush and you will fine. Once a month fill the sink to just over the top of the rack and toss in a cup of vinegar. Let that sit for an hour and then your back to that new rack luster. Over all the Kraus line is fantastic. This is our second Kraus sink. Our first was bought to sell our old house, this one for our new home with a complete rework of the kitchen. Installation : I installed our first Kraus sink in our old house. The process was a replacementfor an undermount. The old sink was very stubborn and took some convincing. Let's just say the swear jar filled up. The install was a lot easier. This new sink install was a breeze. I had no difficulty with letting the countertop company install undermounted to granite.. I know this review was long, I thank you for the time you spent reading it. I hope this helps in your decision.

Oy! What a sink!!!!!

This is like having a commercial sink in my kitchen. This is worth the splurge. It's beautiful. Heavyweight. Comes with a grate for the bottom so the sink doesn't get scratched. Also included is a fold-out dish drying rack that I use to drip dry the dogs' bowls before I put them back down on the new "spillproof" laminate flooring (that I hope I don't regret installing). I haven't used the cutting board yet but it is heavy and beautiful. One thing I learned: if you are having new countertops installed.....the sink goes with the fabricators to their shop. They have to make sure the quartz/granite, etc is cut correctly to include the lip that holds the drying mat and the cutting board. Highly recommend.

Very Satisfied

Beautiful and functional. I love the workstation. Cutting vegetables keeps my kitchen clean because I chop and add directly to the pot. I love the draining feature for either dishes or vegetables. The sink is deep and the stainless steel very shiny. Hopefully it will remain this way for years to come.

Great sink

Loves the sink itself. The work Station looks great and is very handy. Great to have to give my very young grandchildren a bath as well. The only downfall was the plastic strainer kit that comes with it. We hired a Plummer to install it and he would not put the plastic strainer kit in it. He went to the store and came back with a stainless one. He said the plastic one would leak sooner than later and he wouldn’t install it. Other than that it looks great. Make sure to put the grate in the bottom quickly because the bottom scratches fairly easy. But overall I loved the sink.

Beautiful sink but the sharp corners do make it a little harder to clean. Everything else is fantastic with this sink. I’m very happy with mine.

I love my new workstation sink! It is spacious and functional. The drying rack and cutting board are a great addition. Only downfall is that you can see the water spots.

Love this sink. Plan for a place to put the bottom rack…

This is a great sink for the $. The look is superb, the functionality is amazing and the sound proofing is top notch. Last first. I’m blown away how quiet it is. The sink is lined with a noise damping material that is awesome. I installed my existing garbage disposal on this sink (if it ain’t broke…) it is so much quieter than it was in the last set up, t’s not possible to put into words. The functionality is great. The drying rack and cutting board are so awesome. They fit like a glove and work wonderfully. It drains to the drain well aka, pitch perfect. Now for why 4 stars. The removable rack that lines the bottom of the sink is a perfect touch for setting items in the sink pre wash. BUT, if you have any food in said dishes larger than the grate or lettuce, it hangs up on the grate. So think of what’s you can store this item close to the sink… yes I’m splitting hairs. Would I buy it again? Yes. Do I love it? Yes. If the bottom rack rolled up like the top strainer does would it be 5 stars? Yes.

Sink is Good, sellers QC not so great

We ordered this 21” sink from the Amazon warehouse deals, and we knew the product packaging was damaged as described on the site. We received the sink and yes the package was a mess, but all parts and accessories were included documentation, Manuals, etc were all there. And the sink was in good condition, except it was not 21” but 17”, huge difference. After some back and forth with customer service, they offered a small discount, and we kept the sink. Kraus makes a nice sink, I have no issues with the product, but the seller, think twice before ordering from Amazon warehouse deals, make sure to inspect the product. This was poorly inspected, mislabelled, improperly described, and placed on the site for sale, not a good look for the seller.

A Realistic Review: Please read WHY we are giving this product 4 stars

We bought this KWU110-32 Kore 32 Inch under mount Kraus sink and the Kraus Spot Free Bolden faucet in 2022 as part of our complete kitchen overhaul. We've been using this sink for several months and wanted to provide a useful review for anyone considering this Kraus sink. Summary: Overall we love it. It looks great, the silicone drying rack is extremely handy, and it's really deep. The sink options (like cutting boards, bowl holders etc) make this a really practical design. The Kraus faucet matches very well. I particularly like the raised in-sink mesh grate that covers the entire bottom. We have a garburator (aka garbage disposal for our US brothers and sisters!) so that really helps with cleaning leftovers on the sink bottom that didn't make it to the organic recycling bin. We have found that it really helps to scrape leftover food directly into the drain as the mesh screen can sometimes catch longer pieces like lettuce or carrot strands. It also helps to periodically flush the sink bottom as you work to prevent food from drying to the bottom. It's just something you adapt to. Now, there is one thing that's important to know here. As a few others have pointed out, this sink does not respond well to harsh "dry" scraping or the use of steel wool. The finish is great looking, and reasonably durable but in our opinion you MUST use the raised grate on the sink bottom or else you will scratch the heck out of the bottom and it'll look bad. Our cleaners accidentally made a small scratchy area with steel wool, but that's no big deal. It's a sink. It's supposed to be used. The solution to this issue was easy: 1) use the sink grate; just lift it out when you need to wash out the sink using a soft brush or a soapy cloth. 2) flush food material periodically so it doesn't dry out and stick to the sink bottom The takeaway here is to look after your investment. Complaining because the sink is scratched after you used steel wool and comet on a buffed metal finish isn't really fair...don't let the food dry out on the bottom in the first place!

Good sink, poor accessories and poor service from Kraus

The sink arrived in great shape, the box was damaged but nothing damaged on the sink. It was an amazon warehouse damaged box purchase for $150 less than a new one. Weve had the sink installed for about a month now, the sink itself seems very durable and fairly easy to clean. The accessories appeared great at first site but the next day we noticed a strong odor from the sink. We thought it was from the drain but turned out to be the cutting board. It smelled like manure, we didnt even use the board yet only washed it after unpackaging as it had a sort of packaging smell (it was in a sealed plastic wrap). We tried washing it again with lemon and baking soda but the smell only seemed to get worse, we had to put the board outside as we couldnt tolerate that smell in the new kitchen. We contacted kraus and asked if this is normal or what they recommend, they offered to ship a new cutting board under warranty. While waiting for the new cutting board to arrive we noticed the black PVD finish peeling off on the drain strainer, we wiped the sink with a soft sponge and warm water/dish soap after every heavy use...even with gentle washing the finish came off...we suspected it wasnt coated in the same manner as the sink itself as the finish on the sink hasnt even shown a scratch as of yet let alone peel off. When reaching out to Kraus again to ask about the drain assembly issue and to ask if its a different coating process than the sink they were reluctant to help out, then they stated that the sink was an amazon warehouse purchase and as such they would no longer honor the warranty. The sink was registered with kraus.com for their warranty when we installed it (as indicated with the documentation that came with the sink). We were surprised that they refused to honor the warranty after they already accepted the item through the product registration and they accepted to warranty the cutting board. We didnt bother pursuing it with kraus and instead contacted amazon directly. Amazon was very helpful they offered a discount if we kept the sink which was enough to cover the cost for another drain assembly (its too much trouble to have the sink removed and returned). Once we recieved the new cutting board (acacia wood, we opened it and smelled it before washing and it had the similar odor, like a barn/manure...that new cutting board went straight outside...we are looking to purchase a different brand cutting board that fits the workstation, we wont purchase any other wood product from Kraus. The sink so far has been great otherwise only slight issue which is expected is the accessory rails have worn slightly from moving the drying rack on it (the roll out drying rack is great). Aside from the slight issues with the accessories and the poor service from Kraus we like the sink and we are very pleased withbthe service recieved from amazon.

Very nice sink. Really deep. Mounting hardware lacks.

Sink is high quality and well packaged. The accessories are really nice. This sink is really deep. Be aware of it! I think I will like how deep it is. It might be hard to connect to existing plumbing (I only had a 1/4" of space left under the sink... The supplied inserts to mount the sink to the bottom of the countertop are crap. They do not hold and get pulled out when the mounting bolts are tightened. Use your own fasteners to attach the sink to the countertop!

Great product

This was a lovely addition to my kitchen. Really great value and quite sturdy and attractive. Love all the additional accessories. Drying rack, cutting board, and drain covers. Perfect.
