Love product, but this one I ordered broke

I have used this hook many times to hang my grandmother's antique mirror in drywall but this time, the hook broke. After inserting the hook into the drywall, and hanging the wire from the mirror, the hook came out of the wall and the locking mechanism fell back into the wall, Never happened before so I ordered 2 more of these hooks to try it again.

Way over-priced

This item is way over-priced. I found this item in another source for $1.49. The item is not manufactured well and it takes a lot of work to get the two parts to actually move during the install. (You have to actually install the screw and drive it through the receptacle before attempting to install or the screw will not move the receptacle.) you have to work the two pieces with a lot of force before installing prior to install as well. Once you follow my instructions, the product can actually be installed.

Ideal Wall Anchor for Heavy Mirror

We had a hard time finding a hollow wall anchor strong enough to hold a 50 pound mirror. These have the hooks to catch the mirror tabs and there was no give when we got the mirror on it. Highly recommended product if you need to hang something heavy.

Got these to put large clocks on the wall. Not thick enough to hook on really anything except if you are using a wire.

Works!

Great product. It holds my very heavy metal picture in place. The only drawback is that it leaves a hole that has to be patched.

This worked great!

This worked great! I had to hang a very heavy mirror. It came from my mothers estate and had sentimental value. Everything I tried previously would not work. When I found these I wasn’t sure until I put them up and they are perfect. They went and easy, and are very sturdy.

Broke during install

I promised the misses to hang a very expensive picture for her today. Following the provided instructions, to the letter, and attemping to lock the hook in place the product broke. I am now setback and forced to ascertain a new solution. Not a please consumer.
