rubs on my ears even though I thought based on reviews that it was smaller for women

I really liked the color and design of this hat but was sad it didn't fit the way I had hoped. Based on other reviews and original description, I hoped it was be women sized and smaller such that it wouldn't rest on my ears but it did still. Not a deal breaker but wished it did fit smaller as it's so darn cute I'd wear it more if more comfortable. on the ears, the mesh back itself is soft. (Not sure what the "women does not apply" means in new title description now.) I'm too lazy to hand wash and I had gotten white sunscreen fingerprints on the black brim so I ended up washing it once in the washing machine inside of a mesh bag/air dried after, and the cap and colors held up well. It did have one loose thread but it may have been there before, I'll just cut the looped thread away so you can't see it.

Great Hat for a Great Price.

As a runner I was made aware of Headsweats as an almost premeire running hat. I had not had opportunity to invest in one of their hats to day. I just received the hat yesterday, so my review is somewhat limited. My intended usage for the hat is as a general casual summer hat. I might eventually wear it running, but that is not my intended usage. 1. I purchased the hat in white and black (plain) 2. I purchased the hat for $6.99 (plus tax). I generally don't see their hates for less than $19-$20. 3. The hat has great form and maintains it's shape. It's not flimsy. 4. The hat is a snapback, so it's easy to get the hat to a desired fit. 5. The hat materials are super comfortable. I've had issues with other trucker hats having very abrasive mesh which can rub against my ears. For the price this is no brainer purchase. As long as you're comfortable with a plain hat, then this is a good decision. I won't lie, I'd love to have one of Headsweats 'bigfoot' branded hats, but I'll settle for this one until those go on sale :)

Flat mail packaging

Sadly, the hat came in a flat shipping envelope and has obvious creases that I can’t get out. I’ve tried steaming and shaping with clips. They come back. I really wanted to love this hat. The graphic is awesome. I have several visors for the same brand that are favorites for running.

Kind of Scratchy

I do like the hat but have to wear it one size too loose because the mesh is a bit scratchy; it's mostly because it is a rigid plastic. The rest of the materials on the hat seem to be very good quality and it fits great (aside from having to wear it one size loose). I wanted to give this 3.5 stars but I went to 4 and not 3 because it actually arrived on time, I never get things on time from Amazon.

Lightweight, Comfortable, Good Quality

My son is going through a hockey hair and hat phase. I wanted to give him a hat that breathes and looks good. This hat is awesome. It fits him wonderfully, he doesn’t sweat while wearing it, it’s super light weight and it has a lot of personality. He’s received quite a few compliments. I’m so glad I bought it for him!

Youth size

The hat is made for a youth. As you can see in one of the pictures it fits a small child well. The brim is too small for a man's head compared to a regular baseball hat. Good quality hat though, just needs to be bigger.
