Very nice grill, I can be used on both sides right on top of the stove or in the oven.

The perfect stove top griddle almost!
The Gotham Steel Nonstick Double Grill Griddle Pan is almost the perfect griddle. The reason I say almost is that it won't stay in place on our stove due to our stoves' grates. We have to keep holding onto it when moving or turning food when we use it. I think it will be absolutely perfect on our RV stove due to its' side guards and broader grate. It is very lightweight, cooks food perfectly and cleans up EXTREMELY easy. It is an improvement over our Lodge cast-iron griddle which is built for weight-lifting competition and to give your arms a good workout to clean it after use. At first I thought the Ti-Cerama Coating would get scratched and marred from sliding on the cast-iron grates but, that has not happened. It is holding up extremely well. Unfortunately, there's no way to tell if the sliding on the stove grates will happen without trying it. I'm not disappointed that I ordered it and still plan to keep using it to cook with. I consider the Gotham Steel Nonstick Double Grill Griddle a good value!

Non stick sticks after all.
Even after "seasoning" as recommended food still sticks. Missed my return window because I've been so busy at work I just wasn't paying attention. Would not recommend. I have. Set of Gotham Steel cookware and it's great. Doesn't stick at all. I guess they didn't use the same material on the griddle.

Love love love this grill
I love this stove top grill. I have been using it every day almost. I don’t eat a lot of red meat, I don’t know how good it would be for a steak or chicken. My salmon, I realize you have to put a lot of oil or butter for it not to stick. Still taste great. Do not use metal cooking tools, only plastic. It took forever to come in the mail, am going order another one. I have only had mine a few months. I think between using a lot oil so the food dose not stick and plastic tools it will last a long time. If something dose happen to stick to it I used a cleaning spray called awesome to get it off. Let it sit a few minutes, wipes right off. Be sure to use soap and water before cooking on it again. Great grill.

Food tastes great but this thing slides!
Pros- LOVE the easy of cooking on it, even pounded chicken breast tastes juicy and flavorful. Very easy to clean after and heats up well. Cons- I absolutely hate how this thing spins around on a stove top, being as there's no handle to hold it, imagine trying to just cook all your food with one hand and the pan is moving around. WHY ISNT THERE A HANDLE?!

Great for in the grill
I like putting a griddle in my grill to make it easier to clean afterwards. I put the flat side down. This works well, but I found that keeping my cast iron griddles rust-free was too much work. This griddle is the answer! I put it on my outdoor grill before heating it up, and kept the grill temperature below 500 degrees. I cooked chicken with barbecue sauce and it worked very well. Once I let the griddle cool, I used a sponge to clean it up. The sauce wiped right off. It just took a couple of minutes to clean. One downside with using sauce is that there's nowhere for it to drip to, so it pools on the griddle and burns. Some of it sticks to the food when you remove it. It's easy to clean off, but not tasty to eat. Next time I'll wait until the last minute to put the sauce on, and I won't overdo it. All in all, this is a great buy. I just wish I had found it earlier.

Gotham Steel? NO METAL UTENSILS
The instructions that come with it say NEVER USE METAL UTENSILS, never allow anything to boil dry, and has a warning about how easily it overheats. If it turns color turn the temp down and never leave it unattended. It says if you use oil or butter then you must keep the temp down. It was wrapped in 1 layer of bubble wrap (bubble wrap envelope - sort of). It has no damage! The main cardboard display attached to it call it an aluminum pan. This pan does not sit stable on the standard burners of our stove. It slides right off them and seems too dangerous to use for anything with grease, like hamburger. Because of this, we have not used it yet in the 2 weeks we've had it. We will try it out tomorrow with pancakes and eggs. We will have to be very careful with it to prevent it from sliding off the burners. Note well, that it says metal utensils cannot be used with it, but it slides all over the cast iron stove grids, which makes no sense... If anything were to stick to it, then using a spatula to flip a burger, egg, or pancake would cause it to slide off the burners and maybe even off the stove. It does not have a lip or anything to hold it in place, it simply lays on top of the two burners. The warranty\guarantee is limited and you must pay $9.95 for shipping... We have not used the new pan yet and am interested on how well it performs and holds up. We are disappointed that we cannot use metal utensils and find it odd that the Amazon description says we can. I can imagine another attempt would scratch the coating off as it slides across the burners. In my opinion this pan is far too dangerous to be using in the house. The BBQ grill might be a different story, so we'll keep it to try when camping for pancakes on a propane BBQ grill. I can't imagine any other way it would be useful as it cannot be put on a camp fire, must maintain low heat to avoid damage due to how hot it gets.

I like it. Works indoors on the gas range and on the BBq. The corrugated side is harder to clean but the smooth side is slick. Cooks bacon crisp easily.

Arbitration agreement ?
This product includes a pamphlet which says you legally agree to everything it has to say, and if you disagree you must return the product. Anything that includes a legal agreement not to sue them is a suspect product. It might heat burgers really well but if it gives you cancer the first time you use it that's still a terrible product. That they immediately include "by purchasing this product you agree to not sue us" is worrying - like is it safe? It's probably best to use this outdoors and away from anything or anyone.

It works on a flat top.
So i wasn't sure it would work, they always have them on gas stoves and such, i have a flat glass top, and it was perfect, we did burgers, buns and onions on our first try and it was wonderful, everyone was very happy. I would recommend this to everyone.

Plate buckles so it moves while you cook.
I tried it once to grill steak and noticed that when heated, and using the flat side facing down on a ceramique stove top, the pan buckles and slides around when you try to turn the meat or whatever you have on the grill side. Very frustrating!!! Haven't yet tried to cook on the flat side yet, but hopefully better than the grill side, which is what I bought it for. :-(
