Good looking socks

Gold Toe is the king of socks UPDATE: Shrinkage!

UPDATE: After being so happy with these socks originally, they have now shrunk down to a size that I can't even get on my size 11 1/2 narrowish feet. My other Gold Toe socks have never done this, but these got ridiculously smaller within just several washes over a couple of months time. They do still look like new, and my wife with her size 6 feet loves them and has take them as her own. I'm glad they're not going to waste, but I'm very unhappy that Gold Toe has allowed something that shrinks like this to get sold under their name. I'm not making this up or exaggerating. These socks are less then half their original size. I can't even pull them all the way around my heel and over my ankle they're so tight. If you've got size 6 or less feet, then maybe you'll be happy. If you've got feet larger than that then you may be happy, but only briefly. My original five stars are now down to three, and since I can't even wear them now I think I'm being generous with that. Original Review: I've come to the point in my life that Gold Toe is the only brand I consider. They're great every single time. These are no exception, and I have gotten compliments on them. Compliments on socks! Can you believe it? They really do stand out but don't look like something a clown would wear either. Anyway, if you're looking for something just a little different but can still be taken seriously as an adult fashion, then I think you'll like having these. They're also very comfortable and seem to be the quality you'd expect from Gold Toe.

Good socks!

MY hubby was recently made Head of School (Principal) of a local Christian school. Since he has been teaching in Special Education and coaching most of the past few years, he decided he needed to up his game wardrobe-wise. So, to that end, for his birthday he requested socks – good socks, specifically Gold Toe socks – for his dressier clothes. I ordered him a pack of the brown (lighter brown but not tan) and the black. No navy, please, as he cannot tell the difference between navy and black socks (true story!). These elegantly designed socks will help him make the professional statement that he desires to, and needs to with his attire. He knows already that they are comfortable, soft and fit him nicely. That is why he specifically wanted these socks. These long socks are well made, light weight enough to be comfortable even in the heat and humidity in South East Texas, even when wearing dress clothes and dress shoes. When he wears these out, I’ll be back buying more for him. PROS: Soft Elegant design pattern Comfortable Good fit for my husband Make the right professional statement CONS: None – I think they will work great for my hubby! CONCLUSION: I love these socks. Gold toe socks are a tradition in my family. My daddy wore them, and he got my husband to try them when he was a pastor, and he loves them. Since there are other colors available, and each package has different designs in it for a variety. Gold Toe socks are always a good option

Gold Toe is my go-to brand for dress socks. My only issue with all brands is they seem to offer either very simple styles like these or really wild ones, not much in betweeen

These are socks. They do sock things. They seem to stay up and cover my feet. The reason for 4 stars is that one sock had an imperfection in the pattern. Bummer.

Wear ok

Heels went threadbare in a matter of a few wears. Disclosure - school teacher, in dress shoes, on feet all day, but expected a bit more.

Great solution for covering ankle braces

My husband has been wearing extra large Gold toe socks for years and they are getting harder to find a good selection. Recently I have been wearing ankle braces for balance issues. A fitted mold fits into my shoe or the ones that came with the braces. These are Velcro strapped around the molded form and look rather clumsy. I have tried his socks and rolled them down over the braces, making for a less unsightly apparatus. I turn the sock inside out and then when I fold the sock down over the braces they cover the Velcro straps with a nice neat finish. The socks are light weight and have decent designs. (when the outside of the sock shows. )They have helped us both.

No great quality.

Quality was mediocre, one pair worn for 3 hours wore through the heels. Not worth repairing, will not buy again but served the immediate need for brown socks.

Only lasted 8 months

Love the look and feel.. but after 8 months they are used to the point that you can see through them... As shown in picture.

Very comfortable, durability is debatable

Super comfortable. Unfortunately, one of my 3 pairs has holes in them after only wearing them twice. Possibly a bad batch but disappointing for new socks....
