Great for cold feet
My feet are always cold in the winter and I have to switch socks/footies throughout the day. With these lightweight liners, I can keep on my thick wool socks on and don't have any moisture problems. Very good deal and perfect to keep feet dry.

Very happy with these.
I bought these to wear under my merino wool hiking socks to prevent blisters and they absolutely do the job. Went back and bought another pair.

I like but:
I do like for their wicking ability and added warmth under wool, but but they tend to fall down after hiking for awhile which is a bit of a pain but not a complete show stopper.

Way to thin.
Update: May 1, 2023. 1.-These did not stop blisters, as the way the fabric is knitted created ribs that can be felt on the sole of the foot -- it felt like I was walking on sand in my shoes. I tend to blister on the bottom of my big toes, and these socks made that happen faster than usual, and caused the rest of the sole to be irritated and red. And -- 2.-These do not have the fox river logo knitted in. All Fox River liners I have owned over the years have this logo!. Won't buy again. These "FoxRiver mens Wick Dry Auras Ultra-lightweight Liner Crew Socks" are the thinnest liners I have ever owned, way to thin to wick properly when worn alone, but just okay when worn as a liner w/ regular hiking socks. Way to thin to prevent hot spots when worn alone. Unless Fox River has cheapened all their products, the 5 pair of Wick Dry CoolMax Liner Socks I own are much thicker than the Auras. The CoolMax do wick well and prevent hot spots when worn alone. The Auras are even smaller than the 5 CoolMax liner pairs I bought. At least the CoolMax fit right if I wore them for an hour or two to stretch them out -- but the Auras won't stretch enough and the "heel" slips down to my instep and the tops are tighter. I wear a 9.5 med women's shoe -- so I ordered the size Large liners after looking at the chart graphic. There should be plenty of room to spare, but there is not. When I shell out extra money for well-known, higher-end brands, I expect quality products in return.

ok for what is needed
I was expecting a slightly thicker material. The material on these are very thin. The way they are sewn together around the toes, I had to really look to see which was the outside. There were strings hanging on the inside. I have purchased FoxRiver Socks before and have always been happy. Not sure how well these will hold up. I wore these inside my regular hiking socks and with my new hiking boots. I did not feel any rubbing against my toes or heels. Seem to work for what I need.

Super thin and comfy
Very thin and smooth, almost sheer. Seams are sewn very flat; can't really feel them at all. The socks are comfortable and they seem to wick perspiration pretty well. I haven't been able to test them hiking in warm weather yet, but for cold weather (under thick wool socks), they're doing alright for me. However, I think it's possible they may be too thin; I have other, slightly thicker polypropylene liner socks (at the same price point) that seem to wick a little better than these, at least for me. I would recommend you try a pair a few times before buying too many. I still like them, and I will use them, but I probably won't purchase any more of them unless they're on sale or something.

42km in 48 hours... these kept my feet dry and comfy.
42km in 48 hours... these kept my feet dry and comfy... and, for the first time ever, no blisters! I changed them every couple of hours and let the damp pair dry on the outside of my pack until the next change. I will never hike without them again.

I wear boots all day in military operations and do not recommend these.
I was looking for a cheaper and more durable alternative to the merino liner I usually buy. And these aren't it, sure they are cheap and look tough but they didn't keep my feet dry at all. I wear boots all day in military operations and do not recommend these.

Not moisture wicking
These work well as a thin base layer for thermal value only. They did nothing for moisture wicking and are already showing signs of wearing through after 2 uses. For the cost I would expect much more.

Excellent blister prevention
Bought new hikers and broke them in on several day hikes, but then after a four day trek, I realized they were slightly oversized - by the end of the first day on the trail, blisters were forming, and 63 km later my feet were covered in blisters! I bought these socks and tried them out on my next multi-day trek and I had absolutely no issues! 100% recommend for blister prevention.
