Nice quality. Like that it has a wooden handle. The metal is not as thick as my grandma's masher, but acceptable.

My daughter loved mine for years and couldn't find this style of masher anywhere for herself. I gave it to her for her birthday and she threw out her old ones and raves about this one almost every time I see her. Feels so good to give someone a gift you know they will use for years to come.

Does what it's supposed to!
It's a pretty standard potato masher. I will say that I accidentally left it in a pot of water overnight and the handle molded a bit. I wish they'd have coated the handle with some kind of mold-resistant protector. Otherwise, great product.

I had this masher for a little over a month now and the handle on it is already loose! I will say that this is a nice size potato masher but the quality of this masher should be better. I owned a masher just like this one before hand and it lasted me several years. I was really hoping that this one would do the same. Sorry to say but this one is junk. I hope the manufacture is reading this and come up with a better design.

It works
All of the potato mashers I looked at had big handles. I purchased this because of the handle. I can't get excited over a potato masher. It has meet my needs.

It's what I ordered and works well. Not quite as heavy as much older versions...so may not last decades -time will tell.

Good old fashion potato masher
Its a great old fashion potato masher as I hat the new ones with the zigzag pattern and I had to give back my mom's masher which I had for the last 30 years when hers broke. I could not find this pattern in any store apart from specialized boutique where they were asking over $30 dollars and the handle was horrible. I took out a point because the hole inside the masher (made of a type of simili or real wood) had a splinter that I had to take out. I did not return it as it down not hurt my hand, however I would have like the handle to be made with a better material, but you cannot fault it for the price they ask, so am satisfied I can continue to mash potatoes with the old style masher.
