Better than magicyoyo

We bought this Duncan after a magicyoyo broke. This one feels like it’s a bit better quality and so far has not broken like the magicyoyo version.

My son loves it

Bought this as a gift for my son who is just starting to learn some tricks. He's happy with it and is improving and learning new stuff. Has held up well to being banged and bumped.

Counterfeit yoyo?

Upon receiving my supposed Echo 2 the first thing I noticed was that it did not come in a sealed blister pack like every other Duncan I've ever seen. It came instead in a generic white box with the Duncan logo printed on it inside a clear plastic sleeve. Then I noticed that the yoyo itself does not match the photos. It's close but everything is a little off. The edges are rolled instead of a square lip. The center of the sides have a raised area when they should be flat and perhaps the worst part is the bearing. When you unscrew a decent yoyo and spin the bearing by flicking your finger it should spin freely for at least several seconds before slowing down to a stop. This thing stops immediately. I've watched multiple unboxing and demo videos of the real Echo 2 and I'm positive the Echo 2 that I received is not a genuine Duncan Echo 2. So be careful. My only advice is that if it doesn't come in a real Duncan blister pack just send it back because it may look similar to the one you ordered but it definitely won't function like the one you ordered.

Professional yoyo

This is a great professional yoyo. It is a bit outdated, but still a great yoyo. Not for beginners as it's unresponsive. I would recommend this yoyo to an intermediate yoyo player.

Not for kids

unresponsive yoyo like this is not anything like the original duncan butterfly you're thinking of so this isn't for little kids but is still fairly easy to learn. a major flaw this yoyo has is the bearing doesn't come out of it so you cant really maintain it well besides lubricant. I bought it and two other people I know bought it and any time you tried to remove the bearing out of any of the three bought, it damages the bearing or you scratch the yoyo trying to get it out. that being said I have just been adding yoyo lubricant to it and its still going and being the workhorse I need it to be to learn these yoyo tricks. its very fun to learn unresponsive tricks on this.

Beautifully designed yoyo!

This is a great yoyo! I have over 50 yoyos now from wooden to polycarbonate/metal and this one's on the top list. Not only does it look amazing for a single color yoyo, the weight is great, the balance is great, and will be perfect for whatever you throw at it . Great looking paint job with a bead blasted finish makes this item a go for grinds and the cupped indents on the body coupled with that makes it perfect for fingerspins and DNA. ???????? There is not much more to be said other than the bearing is FANTASTIC and spin time is pretty good. It's duncan so you can pretty much count on a good yoyo on reputation alone so unless you go custom order, your not going to get much better than this or the other top brands. Love this yoyo! Good work duncan!

When I purchased this thing i didnt know anything about unresponsive yoyo's. It opened my eyes to whole new world of possibilities. Be aware of this.

Great spins and grinds, weighty yet floaty in play.

My 3rd or 4th Duncan yo-yo. It can never go wrong with Duncan, from the moment you pick it up, the weight and quality is top-notch. Grinds and spins work awesome, also floaty enough for accurate string tricks fast and slow.
