Suitable upgrade

These are a suitable upgrade to the contractor grade incandescent lighting that was installed in our house.

Simple and very bright.

Love the yellowish light while still being very bright. We installed two of these in a small hallway about 12 feet apart from each other. I thought i would need more lighting to see inside hallway closets but these are more than enough. Install was a bit of a pain, but nothing out of the ordinary with flush mounts since you have to juggle holding them up while you do final wiring for install. As a side note i was moving a closet door i had removed and gave one of these a really hard hit with the door in the glass section. Only a small mark was left, no cracks or breaks. Made me feel much secure that these wouldnt shatter one day.

I bought a light fixture for kitchen and needed a smaller version and it matched perfect. Very bright, recommend dimmer switch.

Bright at last

Put this one in our downstairs hallway and wow, it is so much brighter than the 1980's light we used to have there. We also have one of these in our kitchen and the only issue is that the globe won't come off after mounting it. It's supposed to be a simple twist, but it seems stuck tight and there are a few bugs that managed to find there way in somehow. Eventually, we'll get it down, but I'm not sure how ... just yet. Otherwise, would still buy again.

Worst POS I've purchased on Amazon

This review is for Designers Fountain EVLED1022-34-DF Modern Satin Bronze LED Flush Mount with Frosted White Glass, 11" (in case it shows up in womens underware or something) As other reviewers have noted, it's almost impossible to remove the globe from the base to install this light. The light should be shipped with the globe removed. I couldn't get it to turn to remove it but noticed that it was lopsided in the base and popped it out by pulling on the side that wasn't latched. Once I got the light mounted in the ceiling I attempted to attach the globe and discovered why it was crooked in the base when I received it. There was no way the globe would fit flush in the base so it could be turned to latch. I gave it a gentle (as in VERY GENTLE) tap with the heel of my hand in an attempt to get it to fit into the base. The result was a broken globe with glass all over the place. My advice is for you to be smarter than I am and pay attention to the negative reviews about this product. They're spot on.

Decent light for the $$$$!!!

This light is very bright. Installing it was kind of a pain because the globe is extremely hard to get off. Once I removed the globe I had no issues but at first I thought it didnt come off. I read a lot of reviews about people complaining about this. Other than that I like the light.

No lightbulbs

It's a nice look for an inexpensive light, but it's just inconvenient that you have to buy a whole new light fixture when it goes out since it's a bunch of little fixed LED lights instead of replaceable light bulbs. I knew that when purchasing because we already had these in our house, but it surprised me when the first light went out and I open it to see no light bulb! Great light besides that!
