Matches well

I didn't want to replace all the oak towel racks in our bathroom because only the towel rack finally wore out. This is the only towel ring I found that matches well. Took just a few minutes to put up and matches well. Also, I like how it keeps the hand towel hanging close to the wall. Happy with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Para el precio que pagué me parece justo, quedo un poco flojo a pesar de que lo instale con las herramientas correctas, pero igual para mi no es un problema, se ve bien y hace juego con mi baño.

The idea is pretty straightforward, it's a towel ring. So what about the details? First off, I could find only two similar all-wood rings at Amazon in a honey oak finish to match my kitchen for use with a handtowel/dishtowel. Both are price similarly. I chose this one mostly because per the product description the other one was too large to fit in the space I had. The quality of materials and finish are only okay, certainly not fine furniture but then it's not priced like it. The ring itself has a huge knot on one side. Fortunately I was able to use the other side of the ring which is unblemished. Sealed in a clamshell wrap the ring arrived well protected. Two wood screws are included along with two wallboard anchors, and the aforementioned matching wooden plugs. However the plugs are a loose fit so I used wood glue to hold them in. The honey oak matches my wood cabinetry well enough and the fact that it is wood helps it hold the towel from slipping off the ring and falling like with metal rings. Another benefit of being wood is that it does not squeak and rattle like a metal ring. I put a small felt pad on the cabinet at the bottom of the ring to absorb the sound of an empty ring falling.

The only tool you need is a drill. Alternatively you can use a screw driver and some elbow grease. It looks like the seller photos and great in person.

Great little bathroom accessory

Bought these for a home by the ocean. Salt water air causes my metal bathroom accessories to wear so quickly. They bubble and rust and need replacing frequently. So wood was our solution. We bought a set with the large towel bars, etc, and needed the hand towel ring to go with. Even though we bought them a year apart, the colours match great. Comes with the wooden stud for finishing.
