Nice product

I told my brother-in-law i was going to put in a new faucet. He said they put in a new touch faucet in when they put in new countertops in and the family really likes the faucet. I was a little skeptical but thought I would look into it. After research went with the touch faucet and am glad I did, what a great addition to the kitchen. The faucet is well made and works as advertised, been in about 1 year, and gets used many times a day.

Dependable and consistent

Works like a charm, the only drawback is the reach, which may range depending on model? Wish it stuck out an inch or two more. But still really happy with our choice.

Easy install

The faucet was easy to install. You just put the top side ring on the faucet and set it through the sink hole. Underneath you thread on a gasket and metal washer and secure it with a threaded plate with four tabs to use to tighten it to the sink. Then there is a plastic snap on water connector for either 1/4” or 3/8” plastic tubing. You just push the connector on both the tubing and the faucet stem. Very easy to do. No using a wrech in a tight place under the sink. I like the operation of the faucet with a 1/4 turn to open and a high spout with a good reach. It easily swivels to use it or move it out of the way. What I didn’t like was that the top plate to cover the hole in the countertop was small. Only will cover a 1.38” hole. My hole was 1.375” and it barely covered the hole. I used plumber’s putty under the top plate to try to prevent water seeping under it and dripping into the cabinet. Just got the faucet installed so I can’t comment on long term reliability.

Don't buy this unless you do so for every home you have and visit.

Bought one of these 6 yrs ago, installed, sold, moved, and nearly knocked the next faucet off its base as I kept hitting it. Bought a second one, then bought a second home, had to have one there, too. Sold, moved again, and it was FIRST on the list of improvements. Pulled out one of those big fancy ones with the wire coil around it - very expensive - but not touch sensitive. Stayed at a cottage in Yorkshire last month for a week and just about ruined their non-responsive faucet. You REALLY get hooked on this!! Don't get the Motion Sensitive one - motion is too unpredictable. Get the TOUCH one here - and love it. Available with or without battery operation. You have a plug there, use it. Save the battery issue.

Bar Sink version is just right for my large kitchen sink

After 25 years, my Moen pullout faucet finally wore out. I wanted something better, that rotated more than just 90 degrees, and didn't interfere with my access to the sink, large pans and such. The new Moen's were nice, sized between the large and small Delta faucets. The Delta models put out 1.8 gpm rather than the inadequate 1.5 gpm the Moen's do. That was another thing I was tired of. But I worried the Bar Sink version was too small. I was wrong. It was just right. Indeed, it looks huge after my old Moen faucet. The stream of water hits the center of the sink, where it should, not like the large Delta that people complained about for splashing water on the floor. And since it is a pull out, I don't need it to be so big anyway. I can direct water anywhere I want. The spray setting is too strong, bouncing off and creating a mess. My old Moen put out a gentle spray with lots of water that needed to be stronger pressure. Be careful what you wish for. But I do find that it is OK if I turn the water volume down, giving a strong spray with little water used. Still, it would be great if they could make it less intense. The pull out function works great, better than my old Moen. The sliding weight on the Delta works well, very smooth, and retracts with just the right amount of tension. The magnetic lock is wonderful, my favorite feature. If this faucet lasts 25 years like the Moen it replaces, I will be very pleased. We shall see.

Good quality and easy installation

The installation instructions are of the dreaded ‘general instructions of models you don't own’ type. Having said that, it was pretty simple to figure out. The item itself is of solid quality. It is a single hole type. It supports covering up 2 of existing three hole types BUT does not include the optional plate. Buy separately as well if you need.
