cute dress

I bought this dress to bring with me to Mexico and then wear at home for either work and casual. I ordered the medium which I normally wear, I am size 8. I found it to be a little loose on my and a little long for my liking. I am 5'4 for reference and it was below my knees. I tied a little knot in it to hid my tummy and bring it up a bit. Depending on the lighting and what color undergarments you wear, it could be see through in some situations.

Longer than it looks

For me, this dress turned out to be perfect; easy and comfortable for the Y and errands. I bought a large because I don't like clothes to be tight. I also don't like dresses or skirts to be too short, but because I am short, the dress covers my knees and I am happy. I bought another just like it, they will get me through the hot, muggy Florida Panhandle summer.

1st impression, not bad at all XXL

It is very soft, length is good and comfortable I'm 265lbs and 5'7. I think I will be wearing this for a quick errand, go out for a casual look maybe with a jean jacket. It is great for the summer for sure. I hope this helps. Navy blue is beautiful, but you can't see it on the picture.

Essential for summer

I love these dresses. They are light weight, soft, wash (on cold) and dry (on low) well, and are perfect for packing. They don't come out super wrinkled and don't take up much space in a bag. I have 4 of these; 2 V neck and 2 scoop neck and wear them daily in the summer. These are the perfect summer staple. I'm a size 16/18 depending on the brand, 38 DDD and 5'4, and I got the XXL and it fits with room to spare. I could have gotten an XL and been fine, but I wanted it to not be clingy in the hot weather.

Beautiful soft dress but highlights stomach area too much

This dress is a beautiful colour (I bought the dark red) and a soft, comfortable fabric, but the fit was really wrong for me. It was lovely on the top but clung to my stomach in an unflattering way, I am not comfortable with how it made me look and so I will be sending it back. I may try the next size up to see if it is more forgiving, even though the rest of the dress fit perfectly in my usual size (in the sleeves and chest).

Be aware size S/M is actually a size Small!

Bit disappointed with the sizing on this dress, I ordered S/M and I’m a size 12 so it should in essence fit but as someone else has pointed out they highlight the stomach area as they are a tight fitting. Why doesn’t Amazon sell Small, Medium, Large and X-L etc instead of saying the dress is S/M and then sending a size small (on the packaging). I bought two to go on holiday with and I can’t be bothered to send them back so I’ll keep them for around the house as they were extremely cheap anyway. I would suggest people check the sizing before buying. Lovely material though????

Love this dress great fit and length. That said the sleeves could be an inch longer as they tend to creep into your armpit. I got one in dusky pink as well
