Not brown!
What’s described as brown as actually more like brick red. Not a bad color, but no way is it brown. I was expecting a brown more like tanned leather. My other disappointment is how very heavy the tire is. It’s a beefy tire to be sure, just wish it weighted about half as much. I’m guessing it’s got terrific puncture protection. I love the tread pattern and that it wraps around to the sidewalls. Great look.

Conti Tires. What else is there to say?
Continental makes some of the best and most reliably high quality tires in the biz, period. You can basically always trust them. I've been riding their tires for many years on my road race, touring and gravel bikes but this was my first venture into their cruiser class 26' tires. I was relying on the brand that I know to be to notch in other tire categories and Conti did not disappoint. These tires are solid. I put them on my 26' BMX/DJ bike and haven't looked back. Nice and supple when inflated properly. Solid build quality. Low rolling resistance when in a straight line but good cornering grip on pavement and hardpack. They're still pretty new so I cannot comment on durability, but if the rest of the Conti cycling tire line is an indication then these will be plenty durable. The reflective strip on the sidewall is maybe a little unstylish on a BMX/DJ bike, but whatever. I'll take the performance, reliability and durability of a Conti tire anytime. If you're looking at these, and they are the size/spec you need then you'd be hard pressed to find a better value deal. These are priced at the level of much lesser no-name brand tires who do not have the vast experience that conti brings to bear in their tire design and build process.

Attractive and (seemingly) high quality.
Added a picture since there are almost none. It looks brown to me. Perhaps "brick", with a slight red tint. Tires came in separate packages, unfolded. Use it once today and they feel good. Streets are wet from rain and they have better stopping than the Kenda knobbies I had before.

A great upgrade to my cruiser!
I decided to redo my Schwinn Legacy Cruiser, to get back on the road and lose weight. I am very pleased with these tires! They are ready to mount out of the box, and were shipped quickly. I think this is one decision I am very happy about!

Just what I was looking for!
I was looking for brown tires to replace the originals in my bike. They coordinate with bike color and match the seat and grips color. The fact that they were readily available, and a highly rated tire at that, was just what I needed. I haven’t mounted them yet as I’m waiting for the end of riding season, but they look fantastic!

2 inch Stil not enough traction improvement over the 1.5, that I was looking for! and 5$ tube link:
The shape is stil too rounded on contact with ground, instead of the flat carlike contact; But I dont need the presure as high as the 1.5, and hopefuly it wont pop or leak as much either. If car tires were too, that rounded proportionaly, weid be sliping more on them. Going through puddles, the back tire stil spits dirty water some on your back bum; even though, the improved tread design of water canals points away from you. The color is not the copper I was hoping for; its a pale brownish pink, but still looks fine. Looks more like the paler Black Reflex pictured at top. Best on a black bike I imagine. Came in a medium size box folded in two spots, instead of a 29 x 3 inch box, and took a much longer than expected time to get here; but the second one showed arrival for December 24, and came 3 days earlier. It was not folded and was in a full size box. Super stylish, firm and comfortable ride
These tires are super stylish and hug the street with ease. Totally dig the tread and firm form of the tires. The firmness of the tires made it slightly challenging to get them on the rim, but I know they’ll stay on. These are perfect for cruising the boardwalk or wide walking trails. These are a ‘cream’ color so be prepared to have black asphalt marks as you ride on dirty streets.

Prima
Vor einem halben Jahr gekauft und bisher sehr zufrieden. Die Reifen rollen leicht (ich fahre mit 4.5 bar), trotz der in dieser Preisklasse anscheinend nicht zu eliminierenden kleinen Unwuchten. Am wichtigsten war mir die Resistenz gegenüber Split, der hier jedes Jahr in Berlin in immer absurderen Mengen auf Straßen, Radwege und Bahnsteige geschüttet wird. Der Split ist häufi ganz frisch (statt längere Zeit freiluftgelagert) und deshalb messerscharf. Sobald sich so ein Steinchen im Profil verklammt hat, bestehen gute Chancen auf einen Platten. Nicht mit diesen Reifen, die Laufflächen bestehen aus relativ dickem Gummi und bei dem Profil fällt der Split fast immer gleich wieder raus. Meine Citygurke ist ein 89er Panasonic-MTB in verkleckstem Pink, seitdem ich die dicken Schlappen drauf habe, werde ich immer wieder mal angesprochen, was für ein schönes Fahrrad das ist.

Gummimischung offensichtlich unbrauchbar
Bei einer kräftigeren Bremsung wurde das Profil komplett abgeschliffen. Nun bekommt mein S3 wieder Schwalbe in schwarz.
