Surprise Inside Zipper

I had never tried Charles River Apparel, but wanted an inexpensive puffer jacket for hiking. I ordered my usual size medium and found it is loose enough to layer underneath. The chest area was a surprise as most these days aren't made for gals with much of a chest, but this leaves room for layering without being tight. The one surprise I didn't know about was the inside full zipper. Wow! If it is a colder day zip that shut then the outer and it is much warmer. The inner zipper closed won't allow for as much layering. I love the jacket and will be buying more styles from this brand.

I ordered a medium, i am 5’1 124lbs. Fit was loose but i kept it. Snags easily

Layered over a long sleeve shirt or sweater, running errands, hiking. Lightweight but warm

Not great for colder weather

Wore this on a trip to Michigan this past winter. It got down into the 20's. I had on a tank top, Henley, long sleeved shirt AND this jacket and I was freezing. I've worn it in the snow with fewer layers in warmer weather and was still cold. I finally just got a heavy snow jacket. It is lightweight and easy to pack but that doesn't help when I'm freezing.

Awesome Jacket!

Everything about this jacket is PERFECT! The color, the length, the style, the cut, the fit - are all better than I expected. My husband is blind, so I choose what he tells me he wants to get me for Christmas, then wrap it and put it under the tree for myself. This arrived last Sunday and I tried it on before wrapping it. It’s so cute and cozy, yet lightweight, I wish I didn’t have to wait to wear it. The seams are very flattering. I can’t find enough great things to say about it. I’m extremelt pleased with my husband’s “choice”. LOL

Cozy, comfy jacket, zippered pockets. Nice color, easy wash.

This is a nice lightweight jacket, basic and simple, but sometimes that is all you need. I got a medium, which fits great in the shoulders and waist, but I could have a much larger bust and it would fit even better. It is by no means binding in the chest, and puffs out there a little bit more than I would like, but when I have a bulky sweatshirt on underneath it, it is not as obvious. You can kind of see that in the photo of the model wearing it, the jacket is slimming at the waist, but not as form fitting in the chest area. So be it, this is a safe bet for larger chested women I suppose. The zippered pockets are always a huge plus, and the length so it covers the top of the pants. I'm 5'7"/130/36B and the medium works, I suspect the small would be too constricting in the shoulders.
