Too small

I’m 5,6 and 145 lbs and size large was too small. I’m a middle aged adult wanting to get back into ballet, since a local place just started offering adult classes, and I guess I’ll need to find a different brand such as Bloch

Fast shipping, Nice feel, wrong color.

First of all, the complete name is: capezio transition tight profesional w/ seams 9 clp in classical pink. The good: - As you get them out the package, they appear thick, but as you put them on, they're quite soft and feel really nice and somehow silky against your skin. The back seam is a very soft faux seam so it won't bother you while working out. - It has great coverage so your skin won't show through. - The foot opening is ribbed much like the back faux seam so it's really soft and doesn't interfere with movement. (The other ones I have, unlike these, have a really uncomfortable and rough opening so I'm adjusting them the whole time, which is not an ideal situation if you're in class.) - The Bad: - I really DO NOT LIKE the color. It's not really pink. I know that because I have a 1 year old daughter and I've seen more shades of pink that I care for and would like to admit. Let's call this color what it is. Salmon! It's exactly like a piece of salmon once it's out of the pan and on your plate. I ordered the Classical Pink, because since this is the first pair of pink ballet tights I buy, I wanted to make sure they're as close to what you'd wear to ballet class as possible. I figure, you can't go wrong with classical. I was wrong. (Other sites claim they lighten up a bit after the wash, but I cannot vouch to that. I'll update the review once I have a resolution) - I have other Capezio tights and according to those labels, I'm an L/XL so that's what I ordered because they have fitted me no matter how much I weigh at any given time (I guess professional ballerinas are really tiny, because I'm normally a small in hosiery of any kind) however these are long. I'm not yet in my normal target wight after baby (1 year post partum) and these could be folded about 2" easily. I hope they shrink a little after washing. I've had Capezio tights before and I can tell you, they're excellent. They've always been black or tan but they have stood to not only the test of time but to workouts and daily life. Yes, they're great to wear with boots; they're thick enough for winter and thin enough to wear underneath skirts, dresses, whatever. You could even skip the panties if you're wearing this under a clingy thin dress. I got these tights really quickly, greatly packaged and in their original packaging. As far as the tight itself, The only complain I have is the color which is a bright Salmon color, not quite orange, but is pretty close.

The color is.....a lot...

Maybe there are dancers and studios out there who are looking for this kind of orange/ pink color but honestly...it's hard to imagine. That said, if this is really the color you're looking for (and I'd double check to be sure) the quality of the tights is great and the sizing is accurate. But...the color? It's quite something....

Tight waistband!

These are beautiful tights. Unfortunately, even though I purchased L/XL, the waistband literally cut off proper breathing. Unbelievable sizing malfunction. I am 118lbs, small to medium in most clothing and dance wear. I had to have tights, so I ended up snipping the waistband with scissors. ????????

Just What She Needed!

My daughter is a ballerina and is always needing new tights for performances. I decided to order some online to save $. Her dance company has a specified tight for performances. Even though the description 'Capezio Women's Professional Mesh Transition Tight' didn't mention if the tight had a seam, it fortunately did! The tights arrived on time and are exactly what she needs for performances; we'll definitely be ordering more soon.

Exactly What I Needed - Including the Color

As some other reviewers have posted, the color is a little dark and salmon-like. However, on stage, it doesn't have the same appearance. Also, over time they fade a little.

DON'T GO BY SIZING CHART!

Worst size chart. I bought a pair of tan ones from a dance shop but thought I needed a black pair. Read the sizing chart and decided to get sm/med rather than the size I currently have lg/ex lg (keep in mind I'm a size 4) . These ripped the first day I tried them on. Go up a size!!! The sizing chart is so off

Totally wrong colour as advertised

Totally NOT the colour as advertised. It also says not returnable for some reason which I don’t understand also as the rights are in original package and never opened. It’s just the colour that is totally wrong and not our fault. Would like to return for refund or even exchange...
