Best fit of my dancing life

I did ballet for 15 years, stopped for 10 years, and recently started classes again (I am now in my 20s) because I miss it. These were recommended to me by a classmate. In the past I wore leather ballet shoes, both uni-sole and split sole. This is my first time trying canvas. Also, in the past I purchased all my shoes locally and fitted them in the store, so this is also my first time ordering ballet shoes online. Despite it being my first time unable to fit the shoes before purchasing, it feels like the best fit I've ever had. I suspect the design and material has a lot to do with that. I wear US size 8.5 in street shoes, so I ordered a 6.5 in these. The elastics are a bit tight (and I have flat feet) but not unbearable and they will stretch with time. The tightness of the elastics is not bad enough to bother or distract me during class. I wear these over tights, and I have classmates who wear this exact product comfortably on bare feet as well. It's also a plus that canvas shoes can be washed, while I was never really sure about the best way to clean my leather shoes.

Good Choice!

For the sake of transparency that might help someone else. I wear 9.5 US in women’s shoes and have pretty wide feet. In these, I bought an 8.5 C. My only qualm with this is that I feel like the heel slips down little more than I’d like. That being said, it’s probably an issue that can be fixed by popping them in the dryer perhaps. I didn’t feel comfortable buying a small size because I fear that would’ve resulted in them being too tight or narrow. Additionally, I really like the material. They’re extremely soft and more comfortable than other canvas ballet shoes I’ve worn, but still feel durable.

I had to get this pair of ballet shoes because they were pink... Go figure tan ballet shoes pink ballet shoes oh my goodness she has a stash a ballet shoes. Now if I could afford to go to ballet class again I would be on top of the world..

Very comfy with stretch

These are very comfortable with a little bit of stretch. I ordered a size up because I like room for my toes.

W we ll made slightly big

Originally ordered an 8 it was way to big. Ordered 7.5 and still a lil big in heel but am keeping them. I think a $ will be too small. I’m 50 and have been dancing professionally for years. Usually Bloch gilts exactly as my shoe size but overall pleased. The return for first pair was hasssle free. Credited my account punt immediately and did not make me return shoes….

Stretchy, good grip on marley floors

As a dancer with wide feet who only usually wears those barefoot shoes in daily life, I have a wide toe splay. These shoes were able to accommodate for that and stay on my feet pretty well. They are not adjustable with the typical lace tie, but they definitely do what they need to

Pretty decent, but wish I got wide

I normally wear a women’s size 7, and went with a 5.5 after reading reviews. I have high arches and shoes sometimes fit fine in my regular size depending on the type, and I thought these would be alright since they’re canvas and some reviews said they’d stretch, but I wish I would have went with wide. I debated doing so, especially after reading some reviews complaining of them being tight, until I saw that wide wasn't an option at the time of purchase. The size of the shoes themselves are fine, but the pre-sewn elastics are so tight that my feet will sometimes get a bit swollen if I wear them for a couple hours. I ended up wrapping the elastic around the bottom instead for now, but I think I’ll just seam rip the elastics and sew them looser if possible. Or I might just use new elastics if I can’t use their full length. As for the quality of the shoes, the canvas is nice and comfortable. I’ve not had problems with them falling apart or coming loose. The ends of the elastics will sometimes poke my feet a bit though. The leather pads on the bottom aren’t the most comfortable, and I can feel the shape of them if worn for a while. I haven't danced in years, so that's probably another thing my feet have to get used to. I think they’re good for the price, but I wish I would have ordered better quality ones. I’m not sure if wide or a half size up would have made a huge difference in the elastic, but it probably would’ve helped. Update - I seem ripped the elastics completely off and they’re super comfortable. I’ll probably opt for a softer, thicker replacement elastic though.

Definitely worth it

The shoes are great, exactly what I wanted. The only thing is that they are pinker in real life, and we’re hard to get on at first. Besides that they are really comfortable and I love them.

Never going back to Capezios! These are so comfortable and fit so well. The look very good, I think. Exact same size as Bloch pointe shoes. :)

We have some problems finding the correct size but we did it at least! It is from my daughter whose shoe size is 7 but for this ballet shoes fit her better size 6. Excellent product!
