What you need to fill a growler
I've got a kegerator that holds home brew that I make with a neighbor. He comes by now and again to fill his one gallon CO2 charged mini keg thing every so often. This device allows him to fill from the bottom and not end up with a gallon of foam. It is indespensible for filling from a keg tap.

I purchased this growler filler because my local pub offers growler filling, however, they did not have any way to fill growlers effectively. Whenever I would get a growler filled, they would try to fill it from the tap, it would get full of foam, then they would set it on the counter and pour beer from a pint glass until it reached the top, sometimes taking 30 minutes. I brought my growler filler in one day and asked them to use it when filling my growlers, and it only took a matter of minutes, with very little waste. The bar manager was so interested, he asked where I had purchased the item, and he ordered two for the bar. I would caution you that it does not fit Perlick faucets. I have a kegerator at home with two Perlick faucets, and this filler does not fit. It works GREAT on standard faucets, which are typical on most bar and home setups.

Beware of size! Your tap ID < 10mm
It appears to be of high quality but make sure it fits, else it's a quality paperweight. The metal and o-rings look like they'd work beautifully however it does not fit inside of any of my taps. The diameter of the thinner step of the shaft (that should go inside your tap) is 9.64mm and the o-ring OD is 10mm so if you fall in at round about 9.8-9.85 you're golden. Unfortunately any larger than 9.9? and these o-rings will likely not grip hard enough to hold it in while flowing, however if your close you can probably just get different o-rings. The larger diameter step on the plug (which has about 12.5mm diameter) fits inside mine so I'm way off and it's going back. If it fit, I'd likely be very happy with the product

How did I live before?
What more can I say? I've been using a tube, forced over the top of the spout to fill bottles. This little miracle is the perfect combination of simplicity and functionality. I have an Edgestar kegerator, with two spouts. I don't know the model. This little revelation fits directly into the tap. It takes a good push--which I assume is tantamount to a good seal. I filled a bottle with with 14 PSI--about 10 more than I've been filling. In days prior, even with 4 PSI, I saw foam the likes of a high tide--beyond obnoxious. With this device, even with the excessive PSI, there was very little foam. Lo and behold, I had a filled bottle of delicious, ice cold beer perfectly.

The filler is of high quality parts and the tube length is perfect. A little food grade silicon will help the tip slide in and out of the faucet. It is odd that specifications for beer faucets have no information regarding the Inner Diameter of the spout. But you can measure the inner diameter of your own faucet to see if this will work. (12mm Diameter) If you don't have a micrometer, just press a piece of paper across the spout to measure the I.D.

A little snug on standard taps. You will want to cut this hose down if you don’t have extremely tall towers. Does as described.

Pour a beer first
The bar I typically go to has a fill spout that slides over the tap and I originally searched for something similar. I found this and decided to give it a try. After filing my first growler with half of it foam I thought I made a bad purchase. I can't easily adjust my pressure everytime I fill a growler since my taps and the kegs aren't in the same room but I found a good compromise. Hook it up, pour half a beer or so and then fill your growler, it helps.

Great quality but wrong adaptor, be warned I received a 1/2" adaptor not a 12mm. It will not fit.
The quality of this item is amazing, I can't speak for how well it works though. Be warned it will not fit 12mm faucets as the listing describes (like Danby Kegorators, I have a 12mm plastic fitting that works I made myself but I wanted to update to SS with this purchase), as on both hoses I ordered the fitting was actually 1/2" or 12.6mm. I have a feeling this might be an imperial connector being sold as a metric connector IMO; but unfortunately it makes these unusable and will be returned.

Does not fit my Intertap faucets
Probably fine if you have one of the faucets that it fits. It does not fit my Intertap Flow control faucets which I believe have the same tips as all the other Intertaps.
