Bessey quality at a great price
I had 6 clamps in this series and I ordered a couple more. I'm gluing up some shelves and they work extremely well. Plenty of power and easy to use. Well built. Highly recommended.

Good quality but a bit pricey
These are very well made and it’s a good thing that Amazon carries these as they are much more expensive at a big box store. If you’re looking for a clamp that provides more knuckle space these are what your looking for. They do require 2 hands. If I ever need more I wouldn’t hestitate to buy a couple more from Amazon.

The adjustment being in the handle is really nice. They’re not nearly as easy to tighten as my F clamps and parallel clamps, and they flex when I tighten them up. I’m a little disappointed.

What else to expect from a Made in Germany product --- yes, I'm bias --- but I was not let down by this very well designed and build in Germany product. is in "expensice" ? no, not really considering the value-for-money level of quality it's actually very reasonably priced

Pretty cool mechanism, but some limitations
These difitely have a cool "gadget" factor to them. I kind of wonder if there's an application for these where a "pistol grip" bar clamp wouldn't work as well (at least for the shorter ones). For a longer clamp-up, these do seem to have a stiffer bar and probably won't flex as much if you can't use a pipe clamp. There might be some "in-place" applications where these will have an advantage, but they're probably not a "must have" for workshop clamping. Also, the range of motion of the screw is fairly short so you have to get the grip set pretty closeto the final before tightening, and it might not clear around some face frames.

Great clamps !!!
These clamps are great for getting into tight spaces. Also I love the way they work, very novel idea !!! I bought 4 of them and use them all the time. Bessy makes the best clamps out there and you will not be disappointed at all. They seem to be pretty robust as well. It would be a buy again if I need more of them.

Plastic tabs that secure the clamp handle break easily.
As a cabinetmaker with 50+ Bessy clamps in my shop I was interested to see the new Gearclamps aside could see a place for them in my shop. Disappointment right out of the package - the clamps use small plastic tabs to attach the handles. One clamp arrived with one tab broken, when I attempted to attach the handles on the other clamps I easily broke a tab ( they have to be bent inward to fit the handle). At that point I stopped and put the clamps back into the shipping box. As the plastic tabs are very flimsy, I also think that theres a real concern with lifespan as the tabs (which are less than 2mm (1/8") in diameter also get torqued when turning the handle to apply clamping pressure. A tab made out of metal would have provided ample durability for what is otherwise an innovative clamp design.

Works extremly well!
Like most clamps, it's... in my view an expensive piece of kit. That said I have purchased 4 of these and 25 of the same brand just different sizes. IT IS WELL-MADE AND DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT IS INTENDED TO DO! Again in my humble opinion if it was 15% less across the board I probably would have all my clamps like this (73). Great product just a wee bit expensive.

Best new clamp type in a decade
Somehow I always need to clamp stuff near walls, which scrapes my knuckles. The new GearKlamp is my knuckle saver. Been using it a lot lately, and man, it's great!
