Screws too small

The screws to connect the base to the cushion ran a little small. I just went a got longer ones.

FABULOUS! Is there a "6" rating available?

This foot stool serves as a foot rest, a chair, and a cat nap place. It is so sturdy and lovely in color and fits my decor. I couldn't have done any better had I invented it myself.

Good Quality

A little hard to put together but I eventually got it done. It took an hour or so. It actually looks really really nice. People are surprised when I tell them it’s from Amazon. However, you should check for nicks in the wood because I had to return one of the ottomans because the wood was chipped/damaged (almost like someone dropped it onto concrete).

Instructions aren’t clear

The ottoman is exactly what I wanted, however, there are two possible ways to assemble the base but the instructions don’t make that clear.

Exactly what I was looking for!

This ottoman is stylish, comfortable and lightweight- it's exactly what I have been looking for and it makes a great addition to our living room! It arrived quickly and was fairly easy to assemble. It looks a lot more expensive than it was and the beige is the perfect color.

Nice Product - Great Price - A couple of glitches

The product, "Baxton Studio Yashiya Mid Century Retro Modern Fabric Upholstered Ottoman Stool" came very well packaged and arrived in reasonable time. It seems solid, and the instructions, although stark are enough to put the simple bench together. But as simple as assembly was, there were some glitches. 1. With the product assembly parts came four small screws to attach the cushion top (item A) to the frame. The screws are very small for a piece of furniture designed to carry the weight of adult legs and other parts for all size folks. The screws are just too small for the holding strength needed. Also, there are no markings or holes at the point that the screws will be inserted into the seat cushion (item A) frame. So, the purchaser needs to either mark, or drill holes to receive the screws. Optionally, the purchaser needs to own an impact driver to drive the screws into the unmarked and un-drilled frame. 2. Dowels are used to align the frame assembly components. In one side of the frame, as the dowels are inserted a rubber mallet is needed since the dowels fit considerably more than snug. In the other connection piece of the frame, the receiving holes for the dowels are tool large and the dowels therefore have no holding power. A simple fix for manufacturing is to drill the holes the correct sizes ... snug, but not tight. 3. The major holding components for the frame assembly are four large bolts and already inserted threaded bolt sleeves. These metal connecting piece pairs are critical to strength and rigidity of the entire stool. In each furniture piece, one of these pairs goes into each of the four corners of the frame. In the case of the furniture piece that I purchased, one of the bolt receiving sleeves had damaged threads. Therefor only three of the four legs could be soundly connected. It took me some time to replace the bolt and threaded sleeve with a solid dowel of my furnishing. I glued it together for a functional but unfortunately needed fix. All in all, the stool is nice looking, seems sturdy enough and will find a place in my home. But I would not order it again because of the manufacturing glitches named above.

Nice little ottoman

The Baxton Studio is a nice ottoman for the price. Easy to assemble, took about 15 minutes. The only concern: cushion is covered with thin material and will probably show wear quickly. However, the cushion can be easily reupholstered. Overall, this ottoman is sturdy and comfortable. A good choice for a small space.

A lot of work

1. Opened box and was greeted with roaches. 2. Assembly directions were horrible. 3. It was very difficult to put together. 4. Once assembled it is very attractive. The top needs much more padding.

Very happy with this product

Very happy with this product. Perfect size for what I wanted. Assembly was easy, just need a little patience with the allen key. Solid wood construction and the cushion is comfortable. We use it as a seat for our small dog to look out the window! Highly recommend.

Impossible a assembler avec vis fournies

J'ai retourné ce produit car les vis fournies étaient trop courtes et une autre défectueuse. Le banc est de bonne qualité mais faut courir les vis a la quincaillerie pour l'assembler, Très dommage !
