Beautiful, functional, and sturdy
Last year, I ordered these plates, with gold rims, for Thanksgiving and fell in love with them. My future daughter-in-law and her mom were coming for dinner, so I wanted everything to look nice. I put them on gold charger plates and they looked great. They are incredibly sturdy; since we were serving buffet style that was super important. I had searched the Internet for nice, disposable plates. When I found these identical plates, I went to Amazon to see if they had them and to read the reviews. The reviewers were right when it came to how they looked and how sturdy they were. The icing on the cake was that Amazon had a better price than any of the other sites I had visited. I am a firm believe that less work equals more fun, and these plates certainly support that belief. There is no way you can be disappointed in these plates.

Great for the price!!
I used these for an outdoor party where I wanted something nicer than disposable plates, but didn't want to use breakables. They look great and work very well. The only issue was that one was cracked and a few designs were off center. I also purchased some inexpensive flatware to go with them for a party of 40. It turned out perfect. I was able to use the bowls for very hot soup too.

Perfect for my Bridal Shower Brunch
After getting some less than nice looking plastic plates at a local party store, I found these. I wanted more formal looking plastic dishes for a bridal shower brunch but not spend a fortune. The group was nearing 20 and I didn't have enough china not to mention who wants to sit and wash all of that? They are thin but in no way flimsy. On the table they looked very elegant. I am very happy I found these in time for the brunch and was able to use them instead of the other plastic-wear. We used the smaller plates for appetizers and the larger plates held both hot and cold items without any issue.

Needed these plates fast for an outdoor wedding!
I had initially purchased these plates in SAMS club for my son's outdoor wedding. The only issue I had was the front of the box says 40 plates....I took this to mean 40 plates of each. Thinking this, I purchased 3 packages (for 120 ppl). I didn't realize my mistake until I was packing for the trip to the wedding. Instead of 40 each, it was 20 dinner and 20 bread/salad plates. I ran back to SAMS club, but these plates had been discontinued. I was able to find them on Amazon and the company got them to us before the wedding! They worked out great and made the tables look 'dressed up'.

I wouldn't buy these again
Oh, you can definitely believe they're plastic. Very cheaply made. One plate totally cracked in pieces. I was embarrassed to serve food on these plates over the holidays.

Good plates
These plates are awesome. I only give it 4 stars because after I purchased a bunch for my wedding, I found them almost $5 cheaper per pack at costco :( But they are very sturdy. I had people thinking they were real plates and not wanting to throw them away.

Its ok for the need. I liked that they look like real ceramic. Not meant for rich savory foods that have a bit of weight, if so reduce the amount that is placed on the plate. They will kept as option B.

I didn't feel like paying rental prices or using tacky paper plates
I got these for my wedding, I didn't feel like paying rental prices or using tacky paper plates. We had multiple people ask where to put the plates and they were shocked we said the garbage! Held up great, not a single crack or break and we had some seriously heavy food (burgers, steak, lobster!) Well within a small wedding budget and made the day go by without a hitch
