These hiking boots have seen many different climates and terrains, and I've been happy with their performance in all of them. Ice-crusted trails, rocky ledges, paths covered with two feet of fresh powder? This boot has your back. Sizing: I generally wear a 7.5 in shoes, but purchased an 8(B) in these boots to allow for a slightly relaxed fit and room for thick wool socks. Pros: - TRUE ALL WEATHER HIKING BOOTS. If you want to be cackling away as your feet remain dry and warm, while your husband's "waterproof" boots soak through in the snow or rain, get these boots. - Great materials and craftsmanship gives boots a long life span. They become merely weathered with wear, not destroyed. - Fit is incredible- holy hell are these comfortable. When I take them off after a full day of hiking, my feet feel great. - Sole has weight to it, which helps you steady yourself on rocky trails. Cons - Look is somewhat boring, but this is a nonissue. I jazzed mine up with a pair of red laces. - Bulky, which makes them somewhat difficult to pack. They take up almost half of my carryon suitcase, so I usually end up wearing them on the plane. They're a heavy shoe, which is good for hiking, but not ideal for traveling.

NOT SURE

This boot probably fits good, if you have normal size feet, but mine are wide, and I cannot find a women's shoe to fit my feet, without so much pain, so I always go to the mens because they normally are wide enough for my feet. But I do love the arias all terrain waterproof boot! It saved me from having to work in wet socks and shoes, since I worked in the field 20+ years.

Great for horseback riding & hikes!!

I’ve been wearing these boots for a month now and I am SO happy with them! I use them for horseback riding and hiking. For horseback riding, great grip and fits well in stirrups. I can also fit my half chaps over them. Love that they are waterproof so I can get dirty with the horses and have no issues. Also, really grateful the toe is strong because I had a mule step on my foot but the shoe actually helped protect my toe a lot and only had minor bruising!!! For hiking, very comfortable and non-slip for those smooth rock surfaces. My feet don’t get hot and are never sore after. I also never blistered and they were comfortable to wear immediately, no breaking in necessary.

Best Boots ever

These are the best boots I have ever worn. I love everything about them from the arch support to the boot fitting perfectly in the toe and width. I purchased a 7.5 wide. Walking in them is seriously more comfortable than wearing walking/running tennis shoes. Love these and hope they are always available in case I need another pair.

Ran too big

I have worn Ariats for years and ordered my usual size in the same model. These were way to big. Not sure if they changed the construction or what but i had to send them back

Fits perfect

I ordered an 8 wide...and it fits absolutely perfect....and I have just enough room for a thick pear of hiking socks....no need to break in....they come that way....I bought a pair six years ago...and they looked and felt brand new through the years....I moved and they got lost....so this is my second pair....can’t say enough kind words about these mini boots/hiker...waterproof and fits almost as comfy as my socks....don’t worry about foot comfort...these boots are comfy....

Exceptionaln Boots

Best hiking boots I've ever worn -- for comfort, fit, and durability. Excellent grip ability on rocky terrain while maintaining flexibility of the sole. I'm in my mid-fifties, and rely heavily on my boots to help me traverse our mountain property safely. My wide foot does not feel great fatigue even after wearing these from dawn to dusk. The boots are not heavy on the foot, nor "clunky" as some hiking boots can bet. I'm impressed by the quality of materials as well. They've worn a lot better than a pair of Timberlands I wore prior to investing in these. I'll be turning to Ariat again when it's time to invest again. Thanks, Ariat, for this great pair of hikers.

Great boots, run a bit smaller/narrower than expected

I've only worn these once. They're very cushy and comfortable. Unfortunately they pinched my left big toe, my left foot is I think slightly larger than my right. I ordered these in my usual size, 8, and since I have wide feet I thought 8 wide would be perfect. However, either they run a bit small or I'm not actually a size 8. They're also a bit narrower in the toe than I'd expect, maybe because they have to fit in a stirrup. I was wearing a slightly thick sock, so that may have contributed to it. Unfortunately it's too late to return them, so I ordered again in 8.5 wide and am hoping that will work.

Great riding boot!

Finally! Ariat nailed a wide boot for riding! Ordered an 8W, it’s roomy and comfy. Will definitely order these again!
