Best sun blocking fishing shirt ever

Bought my first one in the Keys and my bare legs were way hotter than my upper body in full sun. Worth the price. I bought the other 3 colors here when I got home.

Liberace and Elton John's Fishing Shirt

Great shirt high quality as always from Columbia. As a comfortable straight male, it is unwearable in public places besides a boat where people know you are fishing. The OMNI-SHADE Deflector makes it look like you are wearing a shirt with rhinestones or sequins depending on lighting conditions. That said I got it on an Amazon Warehouse deal so until it gets some blood on it, it stays on the boat.

Very deceptive

The fit across the chest is perfect, and the interior is soft and smooth. That's the only good things. The color is wrong, it fades white to grey, not grey to white (picture 3). The shirt tail and sleeves are far too long. The sleeves reach my fingertips. The worst thing is the entire shirt is covered in reflective plastic dots (picture 1)...this is their way to protect you from the sun. It probably works, but I ordered a polyester shirt, not a plastic shirt. It is too reflective to be a practical shirt for anything involving other people because you turn into a disco ball, reflecting every light source around you. You can see what I mean in the 2nd and 3rd picture just from the ceiling light.

Best Shirt for in the Sun

This is the second shirt we have bought with the deflectors. They work great! My husband stays cool, dry, and comfortable even on the hottest of days! Definitely will buy more!
