Love the watch. Somebody else has returned this one, it was set to the same area as I live in. Notes were written in the direction book. I was going to exchange it, but they don't have any in stock, so I guess I will keep this one. I like everything about it. I'm a little older, so I need my reading glasses to see the digital display. That's why I wanted one with analog display as well. For the money it is fine. I needed a new every day watch and this is fine for that. If I break it at work, so what. I hope if you decide to order one, it is new.

A watch that tells you 'the best time to go fishing' ... GREAT!!!
This Casio Multi-Task Gear Sport Watch is an attractive 200M water resistant gadget that has in addition to the 'Fishing Level Indicator', daily alarms, snooze, hourly time signal, dual time, stopwatch and a countdown timer. PROS: Light weight and very comfortable. Not at all bulky. Attractive analogue and digital time display. Auto backlit with afterglow. This is handy to see the time during a night fishing trip. Moon Phase indicator - just another cool gadget on the busy display unless you are the outdoors type. In 'Time keeping Mode', once you set the time, date and Home Site - the watch's 'fish indicator' predicts the best time to go fishing. When the 'Fishing Level Indicator' reaches Level 5, it's time to bring out the rod and reel! I recommend this watch for any fishing hobbyist. The watch dial window is mineral - this helps resist scratches. The window is recessed within the bezel (similar to the G-shock models but not as bulky) so it protects the dial window against scratches. The watch's digital thermometer is accurate. (NOTE: as with all thermometer watches, to get a true temperature reading of the surroundings, you must first remove the watch from your hands! CONS: The silver watch front tapers suddenly away from the bezel giving the watch face the illusion of being smaller than it really is. (I like the look of bulkier bezels, that's why I listed this as a con) The stationary bezel is purely cosmetic. This is a major disappointment since a rotating bezel can be used as a simple mechanical stopwatch or as a backup for your digital stopwatch in case you switch it off in error - that happens to me lots of times! :)) Once the clock minute or hour hand is in the 9 o'clock position, the digital DAY/DATE display is blocked. Either you look 'under' the watch hand to see the date or wait until the hand moves past the 9 o' clock position. This can be truly annoying! (For this design error, I knocked out 1 STAR) Despite these minor quirks, theCasio Men's AQW101-1ACF Active Dial Multi-Task Gear Sport Watch is a great gadget-filled timepiece. It's attractive and lightweight. Most of all, who would not love a watch that tells you the best time to 'go fishing'? :)) Hey, even if the 'Fishing Level Indicator' doesn't help me catch more fish, it's a great conversation piece ... afterall sport fishermen love to talk about the one that got away! :)) Casio Men's AQW101-1ACF Active Dial Multi-Task Gear Sport Watch is a great gift idea or stocking stuffer for any sport fishing enthusiast! HELPFUL HINT: If you have problems reading the tiny print in the Casio Men's AQW101-1ACF Active Dial Multi-Task Gear Sport Watch User's Manual, then a simple Google search for 'Casio Watch User Manuals' would give you the website to access to the Casio Men's AQW101-1ACF User's Manual in PDF format. A nice-looking watch -- I like the dual function and the moon dial and temperature, even if the leaping fish are overkill
I like inexpensive sports watches. I can't bring myself to wear a watch to impress, and can't imagine wanting a fancy (and expensive) one. I'm like my dad: when it comes to watches I prefer function to form. I like the digital time, the digital timer and the stopwatch. Unlike my dad, however, who for several years (to my mother's chagrin) wore a calculator watch everywhere he went (God rest his soul, I loved the man), I do like it to look good. I needed a new watch, and wanted to get one that had both a digital readout and hands. I'm not sure why such watches even exist, but I think they look good, and I'm really happy about this watch. I think it looks good on me, and fits well (and I'm a very tall guy, with big wrists) and it has all the functions I could ever want in a watch (timer, alarm and stopwatch, etc.) plus a few more (the compass dial is a fake, though, and this won't give you directions). It reads temperature (though for that it's only an accurate reading if you take it off, since body heat messes with it, though you can adjust for that if you like - I haven't bothered). It shows you the phase of the moon, if you can believe that. But the real showstopper with this watch is the "good fishing" indicator, that varies between one fish and four: when all four leaping fish are lit up, that means (I guess) that you can't miss. I haven't tested the accuracy of its predictions yet and don't know enough (or care) to adjust it. As it turns out, I was surprised by this feature (I guess I didn't read the ad very clearly, mostly looked at the title and the picture, and the price was right and it looks nice). Still, I take some measure of confidence in knowing that if there were a global meltdown, and the local grocery stores were to run out of food, and if I ever got around to buying the proper gear, I'd then have a leg up on all the rest of the sorry sots who don't have a fish predictor built into their watch.

Great Watch
As we all know you cannot fault the Casio range for quality - This watch supposedly alerts the wearer to the time to fish come on you anglers there is only one answer fish all the time!!! I would have given it a five star but for the colour of the hands it makes reading the time difficult during daylight although it does make easier to read at night in my view. Time keeping Casio standard as expected - great watch overall.

Super look - intersting features
Intersting concept of integrating moon phase, time of the day, date and temperature over time to predict the success in fishing timing. The problem is that all that data is more or less scientifically proven to be reliable, and of course the temperature readings are completely wrong when the watch is on the wrist, because of the body temperature, and it displays a temperature between 84 and 90 degrees Fernheit all the time. Sometimes, the 4 small lcd fishes would light up and the word fish blinks for a while when it's time to go fishing. I have never tried. But attached to my leg, just above my ankle, I went bathing in Florida and after a few minutes submerged, it would give me an accurate water temperature of 74 degrees. The rest of the features is standard but very complete, and nothing is missing, including world time in 50 cities, shown by 3 letters in the temperature display, which is dotted for graphic temperature display over time. The displays are numerous and you have access to most data all the time, including seconds and moon phase. But the best part is the whole look of de watch. It is terrific to say the least. That is what seduced me when I decided to buy it. The choice of coulours, materials and arrangement of data displays is more than satisfying. Just look at the enlarged picture of the watch and you will understand. Navigating through the menus is difficult at times but the tiny instruction book is reliable. you absolutely need it to calibrate the temperature sensor, time zone, and the analog index according to the digital time (not easy). The watch hands sadly get in the way of the several digital displays, hiding the datas... But they are part of the fantastic look. This watch must be discontinued because I couldn't find it in stores. Casio is the only company making such nice watches with interesting, unusual features at an affordable price. I don't know about the reliability. I bought one featuring thermometer and compass for my son. Works well too. Delivery from the seller was fat enough. Good buy.

Muy Bonito Reloj.
Un reloj muy bonito. Algo pequeño para mi gusto, las manecillas dificultan la visibilidad del Display, es algo complicado de ajustar al principio. Yo siempre he sido algo escéptico en cuanto a la pesca mediante las faces Lunares (yo soy de los que piensan que entre menos luna mejor) ya que influyen también otros factores, aun que tendré que probarlo. Lo compre principalmente para la colección. En general un muy buen reloj, lo recomiendo.

Good watch with pain in the *ss issues.
Decided to add this watch to my collection. I was under the impression that the anolog hands would be linked to the digital display, but it is not. That makes it an unnecessary pain to set the hands to the right time. Really sucks when, twice a year, you have to deal with this issue for daylight saving time. The alarm and chime also could be louder. It has all the volume of a mouse fart. That be said, it is a good watch. Temperature read out is very accurate. In the fishing indicator, you can actually scan the time ahead to get the best time fish. The reason I am giving it a 3 star is for the time setting issue.
