Standard kitchen trash bag in translucent blue
Our community actively supports recycling, and we have "recycling" dumpsters as well as trash dumpsters provided by our waste management company. For that reason, using the blue trash bags to distinguish recycling isn't really necessary as these dumpsters are emptied separately each week. However, we do have separate trash cans set up at our clubhouse for both garbage and recycling, and using the blue bags helps to identify which container should be used for refuse. While these bags are somewhat thinner than the ones I traditionally use, they still seem quite durable. I would not feel comfortable using them for sharp glass to metal items, however. I've yet to have a bag burst, but considering they contain mostly paper and soda cans there's not a lot of weight. I've always had good experiences with Amazon-branded products. I would and probably will order these bags again for our clubhouse, and I've found no reason not to recommend them. If you have a need to visually distinguish trash from recycling items, this is an excellent option.

Good For Aluminum And Plastic
The bags are a nice transparent color and will make it easy to distinguish your recyclables from a regular bag of trash. They are easy to separate from the roll, and they have a drawstring handle for easy transporting. The bags are a lightweight plastic, so they aren't designed to be heavy duty; anything with sharp edges could easily cause a puncture. I don't think it would be ideal to use these for glass bottles simply because of the amount of weight that would accumulate, but these are perfect bags for aluminum and plastic containers. Overall I think they are going to work well, and the size will hold a good amount of recyclables. Earth buddies rejoice!

Light duty bag perfect for light recycling and so much more!
I absolutely love these Amazon Basics Blue Recycling Trash Bags! They are strong and durable and hold up well when filled with recycling and lightweight garbage. They are also made from environmentally friendly materials, which is great for those who care about the environment. I have used them for donation bags and for storage too! They are easy to use and come in a variety of sizes. Highly recommend! 5 stars!

Just as good as my regular brand
I use 13 gallon bags made by a different company so I compared the two. These blue bags are true to size. You can see through them so if you have restrictions that you need to use clear or see-through bags these should fit the bill. These are a bit thinner than the white bags I usually use but I found that these stretch a bit more than my usual brand. I'd say these tear at about the same rate as my white bags. Overall, these are comparable to the other brands I have used, no better, no worse.

Surprisingly durable
I appreciate that these bags are see through so that it is apparent that there are only recyclable items in it. The drawstring being red helps distinguish the top of each bag. The tie is strong and has not broken or separated at all. I can fill the bag with aluminum cans with no issues of excessive weight. I have not used anything with strong corners or edges yet but I would assume that it would not be suitable. For it's purpose, these bags are great and stronger than I assumed it would have been due to the sheerness of the material. The bags fit both shapes of my various trashcans - round and rectangular. The only thing is that my county does not accept trash bags in our recycling bin so I just use these as a liner.

Strong and Dependable Recycling Bags
I recently started using the Amazon Basics Blue Recycling Trash Bags, and I must say that I am impressed. These 13-gallon bags are very sturdy and well made.
